Yeah, I’m expecting half the responses in this comments section to be “um actually”s explaining what Ultra Beasts are. I feel sorry for the other Zack.

I did the same thing. I’d bring a decent haul of treasure to one of the islands with the large moai heads and place all the booty in front of them. I'd then wait and try to lure some other players into my cult. In my 5-10 times trying this only one ship came by and they just killed me on sight.
Just... *clenches fist*
It is a really convenient feature. I’m getting ready to move and I still can’t get over how many stinkin older consoles I have to lug around. It also helps when I want to play games on earlier generations but don’t want to deal with changing all the inputs on my TV.
Oh HELL yes.
I like Skarmory because the designers could have easily just said “A steel and flying type? Let’s make it an airplane!” but NOPE. They made it a flying set of knives.
It’s kind of like going from Thor: The Dark World to Thor: Ragnarok, but in reverse. Weird fantasy is almost always better than more generic fantasy.
So then my next question is why is Epic having exclusive games the line? Why not exclusive first-party games? Why not games with exclusive content on one platform? Why not exclusive cross-promotional bonuses? Reward programs exclusive to one platform? Games that require one specific launcher to be played? Where do you…
If they’re only trying to attract customers by the exclusives...
I’m all about them handing over more per sale, and winning over publishers organically. Kudos to them. It’s the bags of cash they’re also paying to get timed exclusivity that rubs me wrong.
“This odd Pokémon can see both the past and the future.” Ah yes, the ability to see the past. This Pokemon has the power of a history book that can only say “Xatu.”
The thing about review bombing is that it’s not so much about giving nuanced critical feedback for developers or consumers so much as it is about driving down a metacritic score to deter casual sales. They just want the “Very Negative” next to the games’ summery, even if that doesn’t reflect the actual quality of the…
I said this on another comment, but you still need approval from Valve before you can generate Steam keys and they got a lot of rules in place (like, you can only make so many keys, you can’t try to undercut Steam by selling them for way cheaper than similar Steam prices, etc) to make sure that developer or other…
Xenoblade Chronicles for starters. GameStop literally has an entire section of their website dedicated to exclusive products. Like, they’re the only retailer who has the collector edition of Borderlands 3. They carry tons of exclusive products, mostly collectibles and stuff though.
That’s a bit disingenuous. Sweeney specifically said “[Steam is] nearly perfect for consumers already... There is no hope of displacing a dominant storefront solely by adding marginally more store features or a marginally better install experience. These battles will be won on the basis of game supply, consumer…
And I’m fine with those complaints about the functionality of the storefront/launcher or people wanting certain features implimented. Epic’s is pretty lackluster. I just find it silly that everyone is calling out Epic’s use of exclusive products as some kind of underhanded dirty trick when it’s pretty standard tactic…
That’s like saying that your new online store should compete with Amazon by making it a better version of Amazon. Amazon has such a huge advantage over everybody (products, prices, time developing their storefront, loyal customers, etc) that it’d be almost impossible to beat them at their own game. The smarter thing…
