I've always had a thing for lighthouses!
And clearly dancing flamingos have everything to do with books right? I thought he was a very fitting little mascot.

Why do I feel like I've read Song of Ice and Fire before... I can't remember anything about it. Maybe I've just had it recommended to me before now.

I have not, but I will admit, I do love a good guilt-read! I went through a phase where I just gorged through several dozen mystery books in a row. I mean, they aren't terrible by any stretch of the imagination, but definitely more on the commercial end of things. It's just so delightful to get through a book in a day

Wow! That... is a lot of books! My undergrad job was in the university library, I always felt like I had lists that long of books I wanted to get through!

Generally I guess I'm often drawn to historical fiction as a personal favorite, but I like getting suggestions way outside my realm of interest as well. I'm open to pretty much anything, worse case scenario is I just pass on the book; can't expand my interests if I don't try!

So I'm looking for some new book recommendations. I'm an avid reader but I've spent the last 6 months buried under a mountain of work and I haven't had a chance to see if anything truly awesome has come out, plus, always good to get some classic suggestions, it's impossible to have read everything! What are you all

I completely understand that, it's what I wanted more than anything as well, and it is possible, but it is a lot of work and it is a very slow road. I went through 2 novels and dozens of rejects before I wrote the book my agent signed, made for the best 26th birthday ever, but getting an agent was just the start of

Hmmmmm I do get my nails done occasionally but I've been with my boyfriend for 10 years and we've lived together for 5. We are clearly not getting enough data from the two of us to draw any real conclusions from this!

That should of course read *There will be* plenty of chances to second guess yourself. It's late, the computer won't let me edit!

A purring cat under the blankets is the world's best sleeping pill! Heaven!

I had the same problem when I went through my red phase, it's just a ton of maintenance work. Eventually, I just got tired of the upkeep and found a better color for my hair that didn't fade as fast, lucky for me I like it more anyways. I hope you can find a way to make it work.

To be honest? I could never get my cat's friends to leave. I put out a cat condo and food/water. They are now semi-permanent residents of my landing. They hang out in our apartment courtyard (luckily all the apartments are occupied by pet lovers - the lady next door to us even put out a giant cat tree for them!) and

I forgot as well! Of course, I also don't have cable, I have to remember to line up my gym visits with stuff I want to watch! I'll have to wait until I can see it online somewhere...

I signed with my agent on my 26th birthday, I've had my fair share of freak outs as well but really, the one day at the time is the best thing I can say. It's a long, slow, process and they'll be plenty of chances to second guess yourself and probably start over again from here on out, it's not an easy career choice,

So, taking care of our nails or not taking care of our nails? Which is it? The picture doesn't make it clear and I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE I REPEL ANYMORE MEN!!!

What I want to know is didn't Cordelia's husband kill a whole bunch of the possible 'descendants of Salem' before this story even started? What if the Supreme isn't one of these girls because they haven't found her yet or what if he had bumped off the future Supreme before this even started? I know Fiona's powers are

Seriously! Let your freak flag fly if that's what you're into, but this ad? Ick. Everything about this makes me uncomfortable for the poor woman they're looking for.

Clearly... you are a witch!

Second time this week I've felt this was relevant so I'll share my horrible story as well. I moved across the country (literally the whole 3,000 miles) with my boyfriend five years ago. He had a great job opportunity and I went to grad school. Second semester in this guy starts to buddy up to me, it was a very small

The problem, to me anyways, isn't that they covered it - it's that they covered it by interrupting the discussion about the NSA and an interview with a congressional voice. I don't care if MSNBC wants to cover Justin Bieber's arrest or fall from grace in their entertainment section, by all means, he's a public figure
