Reverse engineered machines are particularly interesting to me. Probably because it’s a perfect opportunity to improve and tweak the design.I wonder if they found any places to make improvements?

I was always impressed they got the automated systems right on this one.
Definitely ironic then that their shuttle was a big contributor to them going broke

I don’t know about others but i’ve had as much eco nagging as i can take. The fucking smarmyness is unbearable.
-and i’m someone who wants to fix the environment!
JUST.PUT.AN.ECO.TAX.ON.FUEL!!!!!
That will solve 90% of our problems, and have the side benefit of no one ever again feeling the need to eco-shame anyone else.

Not a tesla fan but this is going OTT.Unfortunately Aaron didnt include all the facts. Those would have given proper context.
Calling this ‘bricking’ the car is dumb. That implies the car is never usable again.
Comparing it to normal cars, that’s like saying a failed crank sensor has ruined the whole car forever.

Sorry to burst your political bubble (even though that’s part of it), but america has been on a downhill slide for decades.
Think WW1; america jumped in to help the non agressors.
WW2?; same deal.
Then the huge threat of communism:America were the only one capable of holding them back. Read more

The correct answer:
America gets into these fights to help those who are wronged. For nearly a 100 years that has been america’s biggest contribution to the world.
Sadly that’s now (mostly) been replaced with ‘whatever suits america’s interests”.

IMHO ,generally i think you are more correct.Mack’s take is too hard on BMW.
There’s no arguing BMW are stuck with a less than desirable EV,but now is a bad time to throw bulk money at the problem.
It’s possible there are few buyers left in the market once tesla fills their orders.

I’d never thought much of it but it’s now obvious from the other product example you give.Harley are applying their normal price gouging to this machine. There’s no way in hell it costs that much to make!!
This model will be a total failure, and it will actually set back harley’s EV plans because it’s so cynically Read more
