Maybe it’s me, but I always understood Howard. For a guy put in the positions he was put in, his choices made sense to me. If anything I tended to feel bad that he got caught in the middle of drama he just didn’t know the full story about. There’s something about him that feels coded to ‘villain’, but he’s the guy

Oh Howard, you ended up being such a stand-up guy, that after Jimmy manipulated you into feeling that you were partly responsible for Chuck’s death, the guilt and regret has you now offering Mr. Goodman an esteemed position at HHM. It reaffirms once more your good guy bonafides.

1. By my count, the electrified fence killed 2 Walkers, and the Flaming Sap killed 1 good guy/red shirt. Well, no time to see any more of that... Let’s move on!

Every horrendously bad boss I’ve ever had in my career at any shitty job I’ve ever worked, referred to it as “a family”.

And you didn’t make it far enough to recognize the obvious sarcasm in his comment.

It’s sad to see that so many people now think crapping on The Office is the thing to do.

It’s a show that was nearly cancelled and never had a season that cracked the top 40 in the ratings. It became popular primarily through Netflix and the ability people had to watch and re-watch it.

Good, it’s nice to see a great

I think the show’s decline definitely did a lot to hurt its reputation but a) I would argue it had five great seasons and b) Those first 100 episodes are so endlessly rewatchable that you cannot deny its enduring popularity with future generations and how just how influential half of the series’ run was on shows that

The romantic journey of Jim and Pam was one of The Offices most compelling storylines throughout its first few seasons.

The thing is, Richard Jewell actually was a hero, did save lives and was unfairly vilified.

I’m also really tired of the “someone I love is dead, I’m going to go on a zombie killing spree” reaction this show goes to all the time.

Jezspin forever

The humour is great. There’s a running element where the fates of minor characters pop up as text boxes (most were murdered, often between 1978-80), and for one character we get the legend ‘Widely liked by all. Died in 2001 of natural causes’. That got a good laugh in the theatre.

“Stick to Feminism!”

I was ungreyed on Deadspin, Splinter and Gawker. I’m damn proud of that feat. It looks like all the comments on Deadspin are just gone now.

Thank you for this, I have spent all morning looking for a website to tell me who won last night’s game.

RIP Deadspin, FUCK Jim Spanfeller and Paul Maidment.

The sudden death of the comments section is definitely going to be the death of deadspin.

I was radicalized by punk rock and Deadspin.

rude of the email of the week to make me cry tbh.

Hey Drew. You’re the best, and good luck with the brain and everything.
