Stephen King adaptations are a bit hit or miss to put it mildly, so I’m not too surprised they didn’t film bother at once.

“Being in America illegally is a crime, hence “illegal” immigrants.”
“Hotels charge hundreds of dollars a night for a room and we’re supposed to supplement their staff’s wages on top of that?”
I actually enjoyed “Pickle Rick” for it’s strangeness but it certainly wasn’t the best episode, very nonsensical and violent, without the witty dialog, except for Rick’s verbal exchange with the counselor at the end, I thought that was pretty clever, his nihilistic, narcissistic rant vs, her reply which was a pretty…
Yeah I live in and deliver appliances in Portland, and it’s not to uncommon to be stuck out 12 hours if I’m given a route that goes out to Beaverton, largely because of drive time. I bet a bunch of drivers will be calling in sick near the 21st, lol, I’ll be tempted to myself.
I was a little worried Pence might be worse at first, but after seeing Trump in action as POTUS, hell yeah impeach the “rapey vat of curdled Cheez Whiz Donald Trump” Pence at least is less likely to start a nuclear war while angrily tweeting on the toilet.
Yep, can learn something from a guy like that, not big on fixing my own car, but with a garage/tool collection like that, much easier, I’d be offering to mow his lawn or fix his PC, buy him a 6 pack or whatever for help with my car, certainly not suing him.
Yeah nice gearheads are great, not one myself, but having someone like that as a neighbor, especially with such a cool garage, I hate working on cars myself, but that’s largely because I don’t have good tools, much less a lift. Williams can be my neighbor any day. :-)
Amen, I live in the city, and have a good, honest auto repair shop about 120' away from my yard, and don’t notice any bothersome smells/noises from them, but a nice hobbyist mechanic who would help me with car problems for free would be even better, I’d be happy to even trade some yardwork or whatever for a nice…
I live next to an actual professional auto repair shop. Just one house (around 120') between my yard and their 3 bay shop, and it’s no problem. I can barely ever hear them from my yard, no noticable smells, granted I live in the city and there is plenty of regular traffic noise to drown them out. They give me a good…
Yeah, I only hear about the mistakes customers tell me about which are rare, but I don’t know how many have to trade mail with neighbors or whatever.
yeah, I sell stuff online, and ship a a few thousand packages a year, I think it depends on how well run the local locations are for various carriers, some customers seem to have more problems with particular carriers than others. Overall I think UPS and Fedex are slightly more reliable than USPS, but it’s by a…
lol, but I think it depends some on your location and local carrier employees, I sell stuff on Ebay and a couple of websites, and ship a few thousand packages a year, and USPS doesn’t screw up much more than UPS or Fedex. They all screw up, especially during the holiday season. I had 2 Fedex overnight packages…
I just challenge them to duke it out in the parking lot to settle things, that gets them to shut up most of the time, especially Mary in accounting, she can’t fight for shit being stuck in her wheelchair and all that.
I’m talking about the African lions they imported to fight grizzlies to entertain miners in the 19th century pit fights. The article I saw said the bears killed them pretty easily. But I do see records of lions killing tigers, polar bears, and grizzlies too, so it’s hard to tell for sure which is toughest overall
Honey badger #33, though a strong human could probably kill one albeit while getting seriously mauled in the process.
There is nothing an unarmed human could do to hurt a rhino though aside from maybe try to gouge out it’s eyes while it gores you, lol, and they can run over 30mph so you could not even run away if one really wanted to kill you. Still I agree it’s a bit too high up on the list.
lol, no, gorillas have no claws, and are sometimes hunted and killed by leopards which are much smaller than tigers.
Cape buffalos are one of the deadliest animals in the world and kill over 200 people a year. They’ve also been known to stalk and kill hunters after being shot. if anything they should be higher up on the list.
I want to know why lions outrank grizzly and polar bears, which are much larger. Grizzly bears easily killed adult male lions in California fighting pits in the 19th century. Maybe a large tiger would have a chance against a grizzly, but grizzlies have denser muscle and bone structure. Polar bears are twice as large…
