The comedy fails to live up to the visuals, and yet the package gets a B+. Well shit, that must be minimum an A+++ on the visuals to average that out! Sounds sploogetastic!

It’s too dense for most people.  But thank god Xavier and other comedy like it exists.  If it didn’t go over most people’s heads, it wouldn’t even be funny.  Not everybody can appreciate the genius of being able to work “I fingered myself to death” into a serious monologue.  

The Raw stuff doesn’t hold up too well, in my opinion, but Eddie even being willing to say that you can play tennis with a gay person was more gay-friendly than A LOT of people would accept in 1983.
