It already exist. It’s made by Backbone and it’s an official Playstation licensed product. (both for iOA and Android)

People said the same thing with RE7. “It’s not a resident evil if it’s an FPS!”. Yet after playing it, almost everyone agrees that it was probably the most RE game that we got recently.

I’m a video game dev and let me tell, pretty much all games development nowadays involve outsourcing. No matter if it’s your big AAA or indie game. This is just common practice.

Because if you buy it on Steam and need a refund or whatever, you get Steam refund policy and Steam customer support is miles better than Ubisoft.

yep, also Ubisoft announced that the PC version of star war outlaw and the new Avatar game will be exclusive to ubisoft launcher(no steam, no epic store). Those PC port are pretty much DOA...

They are not CoD Killer but they are/were good FPS IPs with potential. Hell they own Bungie, if one studio could potentially create a CoD killer, it’s them.

IMO at this point I don’t think anything will ever be a CoD killer unless CoD kills itself (like battlefield did recently).
