Then in second beta they nerfed them so much that minion were unviable, they would get killed by normal common monsters and needed constant resummoning. MY guess it that they knew the game wasn’t good but being a Lord of the Ring license game, they were probably bound by a contract and were probably “forced” to ship the game no matter what.
