well my guess is that it’s obvious that part 2 will be ps5 only. Making this DLC ps5 exclusive is a way to make your fanbase move to the next console faster and ready for the sequel. Which ensure that the maximum people are able to get the sequel.

I don’t think it’s an exclusivity specific to Intergrade but more for FF7R as a whole. We know that Forspoken has a 2 years exclusivity, so it wouldn’t surprise me if FFVII Remake had a 18 months or 2 years exclusivity too. Which would fit in the “at least 6 months” timeline exclusivity.
