I think it’s a problem with your TV because me the HDMI link as been working since day one. When I turn on my ps5, my tv power on and switch to the right input.

They are not using the same engine but having worked at Eidos Montreal before, I know that Square-Enix keeps a data bank of pretty much every game models and animations they did on all of their game. (actually most game studio do this). It’s usually easy to take a model and adapt it to another game.
