My understanding is that the top speed of EV is largely restricted because of battery drain. Is there a reason why EV race tracks couldn’t feed current to the cars through the track surface itself?

I enjoyed the first episode of Underground, but Scalped is a much darker and rougher-told story. I realize that seems a twisted thing to say when comparing it to a story about slavery, but I think it’s all about the portrayal.
