Options are one thing, a muddled lineup is another. In the 4 series lineup you have 8 separate models and within the models you have a further 6-8 package options. Yes you and I know BMW models well, but does the average buyer have any clue what they are getting involved in?

You have too many options BMW!!! Mind cannot comprehend the differences anymore... I’m pretty sure my chart is missing some!

You obviously never bought multiple appliances at once. Be it Sears or other brick and mortar appliance stores you can always ask for a price reduction if you by in multiples (however I am saying this as a Canadian, not 100% sure if it translates down south). You can even go into a clothing store and buy 30 items and

Trump.... do you really want to stand beside him? Because its not going to look good for you...

I think you missed the point, SCC and the Rx-8 are long since dead. I was pointing out 13 years ago it was possible to get 1.15g out of a mid-range coupe.

Its a plug and play modification. They probably left the column shift on because the owner was cheap and didn’t want to go through the hassle of removing it. Suspect its someone that really didn’t care to use a column shifter and picked up the floor shifter mod. Even though they say both work I’m a little skeptical,

I’d hope it could surpass 2G cornering for the cost of the car. Sport Compact Car used to do Lateral G competition write ups and their base car, a Mazda Rx-8 averaged a 1.15g corning in stock trim.

I still feel sound-to-image is a deal breaker for me (and so does most of Europe think too).

Now playing

Hell if Mazda would just SELL the Mazda3 AWD here in North America it would at least be stop-gap solution!

The Ford Atlas does not approve! ;)

To be fair, you can really make the Ford Everest look bad ass and it is quite capable machine offroad.

Except for the awful US studio queued laughter and Corden, I loved it and eagerly away the trio’s return!

Not my cash, I’m Canadian. But I’d certainly looking into a Colorado if it looked this good.

Considering its a MIT test it might have nothing to do with autonomous cars. It seems to be a modern version of Philippa Foots’ the Trolley Problem used since the ‘60s.

Ummm I think thats whole point of moral scenario tests. The fact that you find it bullshit in one respect tells the reviewer a lot about your moral compass and line of thinking.

I think it might bother you more haha. Its no different than putting an M on a BMW. The M doesn’t represent a single piece of technology. Skyactiv is a series of elements to form a whole, no different than any car companies sub-division be it a performance or economy division.

Will also be interesting what Mazda comes up with Skyactiv, which Mazda announced will have 30% better millage than their current fuel sippers by 2018. Mazda has done really well with larger displacement engines and realistic millage and economy.

MMMmmmm complicated cooling systems. Probably could have a blog a day about interesting cars and their interesting ways of dealing with excess heat.
