There were no heroes in this story. Appalling journalism, awful frat bros, terrible administration, mean friends. Bad all around.

What’s the appalling part?
Ah - I forgot the key part of this plan - when you think your kid is likely to poop, use old, trashed, almost-grown-out-of underwear, and just toss them when they get poopy.
Yup, I hear you. My parents were pretty casual about swearing. My kid, of course, decided to imitate my precise use of the word “shit,” complete with the hard punch on the “t” at the end, just as we landed at the airport to visit my in-laws for a week. She used it correctly, which made me proud, but my in-laws were…
Nah - girls are a pain to train as well - just because they “decide” that they’re ready doesn’t mean they can do it - my daughter still doesn’t wake up at night to pee, so she’s in pull-ups while she sleeps, and she’s almost 6. One tip - instead of going pantless, try putting your kid in underwear and let him…
I hear you. My daughter is a lot like yours - thankfully. That said, part of it is also just personality. Kids are who they are. Some are easy going and self sufficient and independent, and some are more anxious and clingy and needy. You can definitely make it harder or easier, depending on how you raise them,…
Or we should!
In a hot second.
Ha - I loathe The Artist. I think it might be the worst movie to win Best Picture! But again, that’s why there are lots of different movies! Which is great. I love not agreeing on movies.
Who? (settle down! it’s a joke!)
Boyhood is so polarizing! I loved it. I found it to be totally profound. Not because it took a long time, but because it really captured, for me, how life is made up of moments. But other people found it boring. That’s why movies are so great. Different people see different things in them.
Yeah, but sometimes, you get something awesome like Reds.
Kate Middleton bought the dress off the rack. It wasn’t a “high-profile gig.” It’s very weird how confusing this story seems to be to everyone.
What Artemisia2077 said.
Eh, good is in the eye of the beholder. I think the original Manchurian Candidate is mediocre and 12 Years a Slave was good but not great. I think Moonlight is excellent. Tom Cruise movies, when they’re good, have their place - they’re incredibly well made, polished, and fun. What’s the point of being snotty and…
It’s actually a really good way for kids to be scared in a safe and controlled setting. They learn a lot by getting to experience that emotion in a way that they can handle and react to it.
I thought Zootopia was better than Moana. People can differ. No big deal.
They should invite Shelly Long as well.
Yes. As an Oscar winner, he was a member of the Academy - you automatically become one when you win. That’s the easiest way to get in.
It is so contrived and idiotic. Emotion porn.
