This is literally a misuse of “literally,” which has become a terrible trend. For future reference, it’s best not to emulate Paris Hilton when you are making word choices.

I have seen many, many adults on airplanes who are worse behaved than any baby or toddler. I would not be surprised if you are one of them.
I am so with you. I hate it. It’s infantilizing. I hate this whole “I’m just a child in a grown-up body” thing, and these kinds of stupid sayings scrawled in child-like font and covered in glitter are the physical expressions of that sentiment.
So true. Brilliant and talented are two words that get thrown around waaaaaay too much if you ask me.
Lol - that’s why there are different books! We don’t all have to like the same things!
It’s a terrible, terrible book. I can’t believe anyone wants to claim it.
Ok, true story. In college, I flew to France with some friends. We all drank on the plane. One of my friends got loaded and passed out, face down on top of the stranger next to her. Her mouth was wide open and literally on his crotch. Poor guy kept trying to diplomatically move her, but she just kept burrowing in.…
Both can be true (his mom really is dying, but he is still a terrible assaulter). Everyone has a mother...
Good for you, good for your dad, and please let him know that there are people who truly are grateful and appreciate everything he did. It mattered a lot, and it continues to matter.
There are few people I hate more than doulas.
Lol - clearly, your love of Morning Joe drove you to move to the east coast!
I just don’t think she’s a morning host. I would love to see her reporting segments on the show, though. She’s so smart and thorough.
Ann Curry is a great reporter, but she is a lousy morning TV personality and interviewer.
To be fair, he was assaulting AND working. (please take this with in the non-serious spirit in which it was intended)
I know what you mean, but it is hard to believe bad stuff about your friends and family. It just is. You think it wouldn’t be hard for you, but it is for everyone. And it’s so awful when you find out your friend or a family member is a really bad guy.
Excellent. Fight stereotyping and bigotry with more stereotyping and bigotry. Oh, and btw, are you familiar with the term “comfort women?” Sexual assault of women was a freaking cottage industry. And if you’d like examples that are more like Harvey, read and learn:
The book was lousy. He should be too embarrassed to insist that it was plagiarized from him.
The weirdest thing about Morning Joe to me is now obsessed all New Yorkers are with it, and how little it matters anywhere else. Everyone in NY talks about how they start their day with it, but literally not a single person in LA watches it at all, and I’ve never heard anyone not from NY reference it in any way.
Eh, that’s what it’s like to date a writer or a director. Comes with the territory. If that kind of thing bugs you, dating a writer or director is not for you.
God, I’m just tired of everyone.
