I’d say it also helps if you completely separate the game from the movie in your head. I’d say it was a pretty fun movie that bore a remote resemblance to the games, but contained none of the characters from the games. Not the worst way to spend a Saturday afternoon while you’re cleaning the house. Or whatever…

Zach Snyder is a dumb guy and a bad director. No matter what horrible, nonsensical direction you fear the sequel to Rebel Moon will go, I can almost guarantee that the end result will be much, much worse than you can possibly imagine.

Why would anyone watch this when there’s a new season of Takeshi’s Castle out?

The frickin’ ads they’ve started playing on the pumps. Especially the ones that can’t be muted. Like getting gas isn’t already a bad experience they’ve figured out how to make it worse.

They can’t “arbitrarily” decide to increase rates - every state has an insurance regulatory body that has oversight on insurance rates. But you should look for insurance companies with the word “mutual” in their name. Those companies aren’t trying to gouge their customers like State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, etc are…

I have a smallish yard. I bought an electric mower when we moved in because we didn’t have a yard before. Everyone else on my street had a gas mower. Since then, it’s probably 50/50 now. I’m not sure if seeing the electric mower doing as good a job as the gas ones for these size yards was an impetus for the change or…

My favorite car of all time, and one that is in my garage, the Jaguar E-Type. Overhyped as being able to top 150mph but it never quite made it even in pre-emissions guise. Yes, a beautiful shape but not the speed demon it was made out to be.

Kind of shocking considering he has made numerous overtures about running for office as a Republican. Maybe he does understand what that means.
