Good god could this article be any worse?

Every questionable thought I ever had about Hinkie is erased. I mean, this letter tells me he probably doesn’t have the right temperament for the job, but I literally clapped my hands together in admiration.

I live in Kansas. I like to tease KC Chief fans about how the team has them suckered. While teams like Cleveland suck and don’t pretend otherwise, teams like the Chief’s seem to try and make fans think they have actually accomplished something in the last 40 years and the fans buy it.

After reading this letter, I’m brave enough to give Hinkie some credit here. It can really suck to be a fan of teams like the Pacers, Hawks, or Grizzlies. Those teams win enough and get people invested, but fans know - deep down - that they aren’t actually going to win an NBA Championship.

With Scott O’Neil running our business operations, you are in good hands. I can assure you that when your team is eventually able to compete deep into May, Scott will ably and efficiently separate the good people of the Delaware Valley from their wallets on your behalf. Worry not.

I think The Process was so much of a good idea that it became a bad idea. I’m agnostic about Hinkie in the abstract; I don’t have a handle on how willing he was to be told he had to start operating differently, if they ever told him that.

So they didn’t make history....

In point of fact, by winning the game, the Sixers AVOIDED making history by making sure they would NOT have the worst three season record of all time. So the real headline should be “Sixers Win Game, Do Not Make History.” I’m pretty fucking sick of these clickbait headlines.

Anyone who knows anything about the law knows that cases where one party “knows” they are going to lose (and “lose” is fluid on appeals, FYI) either are decided without arguments/trial based on summary judgment or are settled. Sorry that someone told you otherwise.

The biggest take away for me from watching that highlight video is that there are a lot more black people in Canada than I thought.
