Is it just me or does it look like Lawler went for extra pearl-clutching emphasis in the way he wrote the words “BLACK MAN”

Yeah, I don’t understand why they seem to get such good press, especially with all the infographic shit.

“Bang a Gong” by T Rex. I always feel like I could go rob a bank afterwards. I’m a runner but a very slow runner, so I often find some slower, but intense songs work well ... “Madness” by Muse is a good one for me.

I’ll also bet that this kid is on reddit.

I think if I’m reading it right is that the PTA president did it herself, and the first time anyone laid eyes on it was when it got posted to facebook. Even then, it was one of 9 photos, so it would have been pretty hard to spot. Put once you see it you definitely can’t unsee it. She definitely made a mistake.

I liked the movie a lot, and think his character had some redemption. He’s still a garbage person, but he showed some good qualities by the end. This movie wears it’s lack of simplicity on it’s sleeve, so I don’t understand why people are quite so upset about it.

I thought Three Billboards was the best of the the three even though it was way more uneven than In Bruges. I liked all three quite a bit, and LOVED several parts of Three Billboards and In Bruges. My problem with this movie isn’t Rockwell’s character or his performance, it’s that *SPOILER* Willoughby’s cancer feels

FWIW, I’ve used turo a lot, and most of the people I rent from are black. The white people I rent from, though, are crazy as fuck.

I think you’re right about it being in all sports. Probably more prevalent in girls athletics although as male sexual abuse survivor I know plenty of horror stories from boys athletics. I honestly feel like one of the best steps any athletic org could take, regardless of the athletes’ gender, is to require female

But, my gut tells me that if we lived in a world where winter sports were more inclusive of non-white ppl, that vote might have been much more in his favor.

Yes, as a dweeb growing up in the late 80's, he was on my TV every weekday. Glad someone mentioned square one. I was in law school in Baltimore when they were making the wire, and I saw him and Aiden Gillen in a coffee shop, but I was intimidated.

Together, we make flower!

Nice! Asking for a beer is a perfect way to prove you’re not a homo, but it’s subtle enough that the homo doesn’t have a hissyfit.

Honestly, the ESPN Body Issue is way more relevant than the swimsuit issue. It’s inclusive and somewhat informative kinesiologically (new word?). People are mostly interested just because it’s naked people, but at least there’s a justification for it appearing in a sports magazine. I worked in a state legislature

I’ve always found he writes dialogue strangely. Tense dialogue and menacing or intentionally strange dialogue he does fine. But, his everyday conversion always seems off, as if it’s both overly intense but the characters are talking past one another. Once I just accepted that, it was easier to get past that to some

Are you serious? Caddyshack is fucking hilarious, but there are chimps who get that it’s funny. Yeah it’s better than Happy Gilmore, but don’t think that just because something is old, it’s sophisticated. There’s a candy bar poop joke that lasts for 7 minutes.

The problem with golf is that there’s no way to train with it from the beginning. Most sports are witnessed by crowds from an amateur level (even tennis). With golf, you don’t get crowds unless you’re elite, and even then, you sometimes have REALLY tiny crowds because the entire field is spread out. I think silence

“Dear God, that’s wretched!”

In Judge Smails’ defense, he’s actually one of the least douchey characters in Caddyshack. He idolizes Ty, who rewards his kindness by fucking his niece. He takes a shine to an underprivileged kid named Danny, who also rewards his kindness by fucking his niece. He takes care of his clearly developmentally disabled

The amount of money the city, state, and federal government are spending dealing with her as opposed to getting her into residential treatment or group living has to be pretty staggering. Hopefully, she’ll agree to it.
