Hasan Abi streams the equivalent of a popular television or radio talk show for hours a day, most days of the week — it makes sense that its profitable. As long as he pays his fair share of taxes, doesn’t exploit anyone and advocates for progressive causes I don’t see a disconnect.

I think those are (heavily factionalized) biographical movies are about Mas Oyama, a real life karate legend and one Chiba martial arts teachers. Oyama supposedly fought a bull.

But I was still impressed he managed to turn half the galaxy around in its issues. That’s some grade-A debate skills.

I think there is validity to the idea that What If? T’Challa is more of a radical departure to the original than What If? Peggy Carter, and this is related to the dissonance some viewers feel between voice actor and character.

clearly something is off in the translation between Chadwick Boseman reading dialogue in a booth and Chadwick Boseman’s voice coming out of Star-Lord’s mouth.

They fuck you up, your mum and dad. They may not mean to, but they do. They fill you with the faults they had And add some extra, just for you. But they were fucked up in their turn By fools in old-style hats and coats, Who half the time were soppy-stern And half at one another's throats. Man hands on misery

Sam Wilson deserves to be Captain America, so let him have the damn Twitter account. Captain Carter should have one of her own at the very least.

A) An important theme in First Avenger is that its Steve Rogers character — and not the formula — that truly makes him Captain America. Dr. Erskine said it explicitly. It’s also reinforced by Steve using the garbage can as a shield. Those instincts and qualities are in Steve already. That’s why its insulting to refer

If a vampire hunting Punisher with Doctor Strange stuck in his head is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

Calling Steve Rogers “Little Steve” is somewhat insulting, especially since one of the points of the episode is that Rogers is a hero and the love of Peggy’s life because of things other than his physical size.

“My Tigga…”

The gangster themed “Piece of the Action “Star Trek episode is the most predictable, boring choice Tarantino could choose to adapt imo. Of course I understand Tarantino had to pick episode that spoke to him the most, but it reduction just to think of him as the guy who makes crime thrillers.  My top choices would have

I recognized Pom but despite her striking features she is probably best known to audiences for minor roles in three Marvel films and that awful Melissa McCarthy Netflix superhero comedy. Don’t think fans really know her yet, but critics definitely should.

I’m gonna guess you only tip the dancers with singles, and never go over 2 ;-)

Action heroes like Bloodsport aren’t normal — they are extraordinarily skilled individuals existing in a heightened reality — but they aren’t super humans in that context.

Throughout the film, in a very darkly humorous way, Gunn was making a point about disposably humans (including this movie’s audience) treat other living beings. We all laughed at the Milton joke as a film audience because we didn’t really care about Milton either.

Then again, Idris Elba just kinda played Idris Elba with super powers.

I think there’s a good chance CB comes back if the Flashpoint movie goes well. A multiverse makes it possible for a version of Boomerang to come back, and the obvious Flash sequel is a movie where he fights his Rogues. Captain Boomerang is a prominent member of that group and already established as a popular cinematic

I can’t tell from text whether the perceived injury is from emotional dishonesty or physical assault or sexual coercion. None of which are good, but are substantially different from one another.
