I bought an S550 Cabrio but quickly turned it around for an E63S Wagon because I knew the V8 was going. I’m sad to see Merc give up on so many of the models that make the brand cool though. Low volume cars might not make sense financially, but they’re usually halo segments that people look at and aspire to own...and

Not problem solved. You have now created a bottleneck because less riders can get on at a time. It might not sound like much to have it on one car, but over the course of a day that could be hundreds of potential riders. Now you will have longer lines and people complaining. And instead of <50% of people being effected

One of the coolest things about the F-1 was when they basically rebuilt one a decade or so ago, after finding a good condition engine in storage. The upgraded version of it (the F-1B) was a potential option for the Shuttle replacement, although it got passed over for SLS re-using the Shuttle engines for political

I get to see the Saturn V everyday. Whoot.

Now having a bill to ensure there will be least 1 base EV model that costs no more than 25K$ with 400 miles of range by 2030 offered to consumers, I could get behind that.

Just as long as we can still get some more “James May, Our Man In...” shows, I’ll be satisfied.

I may be wrong, but I’m under the feeling you’ve deliberately misrepresented the situation you’ve mentioned.

“Hellephant”? “Hurricrate”? Pah! That’s nothing! GM’s bringing back the Iron Duke, as “Harbage!”

But how do you even know where the license plate is hiding on the average car in maine

As they should.

Hell yeah I’ll take me a Don Knotts-endorsed Dude pickup truck.

The debt relief is neither half-hearted nor a half-measure. It’s a $400B package that will completely eliminate student loan debt for over a third of all borrowers and will still benefit roughly 95% of all borrowers. The private school kids who knowingly signed up for an absurd amount of debt will still owe, and I’ve

That’s a solid $3,000 truck. For $7,000 it needs to be something better than a high mileage poverty spec fleet truck. No dice.

Yep. I’m from NEPA, my sister lives in Philly. When I lived in Pittsburgh, this is how I ordered them at Danny's in South Park.

If you live on the east coast... especially north of the mason dixon line you generally have way better local spots. But there’s lots of areas you can’t even get a good sub/grinder, all you have are chains. Where I am in the Dallas area there is nothing, Jersey Mike’s is the only option for something decent.

Just goes to show that when you make an affordable, practical vehicle the people will come.

Not refrigerating the blood supply kept in it would be a bigger waste.

A shuttle crammed with world leaders--with or without the U.S. President--seems like a pretty bad idea in terms of security in general.  Sure, maybe nobody has real beef with the PM of Belgium, but a terrorist attack on (what I presume) a vehicle with a whole gaggle of world leaders would be a big ugly deal.
