This isn’t an endorsement of bad behavior but do the math. $21/$7 per beer is one beer every 30 minutes=not exactly nursing them. 3 beers for a 90 minute session sounds about right especially if you’re driving. Maybe even too many for some.

Was anyone really buying the safety argument, though? I doubt it, but I guess it was enough to get the FMVSS 108 regulations amended, so maybe in the end it was worth it.

I changed the shift knob on my old WRX from stock to a cue ball style....the feel alone was worth the change. Much more comfortable.

I’d say they are both useful for strutting like a peacock.

If used as intended, lifting can be a very good mod when you’re offroading. Unfortunately it’s generally for looks now (hello brodozer) so it’s dubiously useful

I upgraded my exterior and interior lights to LED bulbs minus the headlamps. I like the look much better than incandescent.

almost none of my coffee comes from brazil. I’m ok with higher prices vs no coffee. that’s not going to happen.

I’ve run the gamut of car ownership of 70hp to 250hp cars.

I use leftover brine to make quick fridge pickles of leftover veggies. carrots, onions, tomatoes, etc

I’ve had a few cars with low power (90hp or less). I have no interest in returning to that. Especially not for real car money.
