Friendly reminder that if Microsoft had been allowed to launch digital codes-as-games... we would be able to get this discount and not have to put a disk in.

Thanks a lot whiners.

Worse than Semi-Formal is “Cocktail Atire” WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!

Hot Take: Projectors are garbage. Projection TVs were terrible. Projection screens are terrible. These are also terrible. For $850 you can buy this random 75" TV I just picked out of the air and have a far better experience.   You’ll get real HDR. You’ll be able to view it during the day.  I’m sure the color will be

Of all of the anti-consumer shit that game companies are pulling these days... console exclusives should be public enemy #1.

People want to burn Epic at the stake because you have to install a free application to download and play some games. Meanwhile console gamers celebrate HARDWARE exclusives like it’s proof of a

Every time I see a physical disk for 50% off on black Friday that I’m unwilling to buy because it’s a physical disk I get mad.

Remember when the Playstation 2 was successful because it was the cheapest/best DVD player for the money? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Letting you buy games on Amazon or at Best Buy or Fry’s on sale and then add them to your digital library.

“The Tesla is cheaper.”
“It’s about Reliability and build quality.”
“Mercedes and BMWs are known for the unreliability. Hence the lease and dump.”
“It’s about marketing.”
“Tesla is the most googled car brand.”
“It’s about familiarity.”

I traded in a Volvo for a Tesla. Interior quality and exterior quality is pretty much the same. Tesla is slightly more rattly but my Volvo also had an annoying rattle in the sunroof that the dealer could never fix.

“Fun Green Car” is the eTron which is selling 500 units per month. The alluring promise of autonomy is selling far more Teslas than their electric drive train.

Musk might be off by as much as a decade in his “Alien Dreadnought” thinking, but it’s only a matter of time for electric cars to have next to no hand labor.

the rules clearly state that it is off limits to do so.

Uber could probably buy Carbon offsets for the flight for a couple dollars more and call it good.  Gotta start building that carbon free electricity infrastructure now anyway.

I imagine the $1B figure included all of the factory including the equipment which mostly was auctioned off to Toyota’s other factories around the country.

To quote another Toyota news story (assuming Toyota builds factories for similar costs)

“He raped me.”
“[People] can become very blaming, very much point fingers.”

yeah how dare someone accuse someone of one of the most heinous crimes that can be committed. Stop whining./s
