You’re both ridiculous. This Tesla fan for putting up with a lemon. And the author for absurd hyperbole. “But what if a child crawled into the trunk when the power died?!?!”

The Atlas V is 50% owned by Boeing.

“Mere failure to realize a long-term, aspirational goal is not fraud,”

The takeaway should be to pressure Sony and Nintendo out of exclusives as well.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Console exclusively is the most anti consumer thing left in the tech sector. DRM, micro transactions, loot boxes? Give me a break. A console exclusive is like $500 of hardware DRM that arbitrarily prevents you from playing a game because Sony, Nintendo or MS want you to buy

I lived on a hill about that steep. It was very entertaining on a snowy day to curl up with a nice hot mug of hot chocolate and watch any and every brand and model of 4x4/Truck slide down the hill into the curb at the bottom.

When Microsoft and Google pulled this stunt they refunded all of the purchase amounts. Will that be the case here? Or just sucks to be you?

The most glaring problem is cost. The nearly $53 million this cost the government could have gone into actual transportation infrastructure.

But collective bargaining also gets you a substantial seat at the table anyway. You can even demand a board position. That’s my point. Having influence and getting dividends can be accomplished multiple ways. Even having shares doesn’t guarantee voting rights. Lots of companies now have non-voting shares which they

A union doesn’t have to own stock in a company to get profit sharing/dividends etc.

Glad someone already commented on this. Heat pumps do for heating what AC does for cooling.

Public transit has done a plenty good job in the US discouraging public transit investment.

Oh, the irony of talking about how Tesla has defeated CCS in the format war... only to use a photo of a CCS plug for the banner photo.

There’s a massive difference between creeping and squeezing through a crosswalk and blowing past a pedestrian at 30mph.

Gamers trashed Xbox for “having no exclusives” and Microsoft’s strategy of releasing across platforms and everywhere all at once.

Banking on Fusion is still a fool's errand. It's not going to meaningfully assist in transitioning off fossil fuels. It's going to be backfill for long term power generation after we've already decarbonized. Think 2050s and beyond.

The previous generation of motors used zero rare earth materials. So this is just a return to the past.

Exclusives are the most anti consumer toxic part of the gaming industry.

A huge portion of their estimated costs are for people who charge at home needing to install an L2 charger (which most people don’t actually need and should be included in Home Equity appreciation not transportation depreciation, so their argument is kind of sort of bullshit.)

This is the same guy that somehow managed to OUT ELON... ELON in bragging to Elon that he could single handedly rewrite Autopilot in like a month.
