I own a 3D content studio. $10k/month per person is pretty much a perfect estimate. Let’s say we pay someone $75k, you also have to pay about 8% for payroll taxes. So now you’re at $82k. Let’s say you need 5 people’s office space. That’s around $800/month per person. We’ll round up to $91.6k. Plus health insurance for

Kind of confused by the title.

It’s always been censored. Artists have always had to adjust. The fact that every card is remotely similar means unless they happened to find one single illustrator who just happened to perfectly match Blizzard’s style the artist was placating the client.

What snowboarder actually seeks out moguls.

I almost always am out with 50/50 skiers snowboarders and everyone I ski/board with are experts. That being said, I see very little side slipping/snow plowing of beginner skiers on expert terrain. I see a lot of beginner snowboarders side slipping on expert terrain. That’s my one grievance. Once you get to triple

At least Adjunct Teachers are actually teaching unlike most full time university staff.  If anyone deserves a slice of the tuition it’s often the adjunct. The whole higher education model is a mess. You have tenured professors who are doing R&D that is ostensibly government research or private industry research... but

It is very bloated and MS is not going to fix it.

This isn’t 2016. Hillary was almost certainly going to be the nominee. And in spite of the surprise performance by Bernie (which was still well short of what it took to be nominated) we knew attacking Hillary was attacking who was almost certainly going into the general.

Also we aren’t undermining Bernie on a

I’m actually going to agree with Chuck Todd on this one *gag*. I think they should be called “internment camps” because that has the near perfect historical connotations. I think it’s disingenuous to say “I didn’t say NAZI concentration camps!” but ask someone what a “concentration camp” is and they’ll almost

Teammates begged out of shared hotel room assignments with Winslow because

When Microsoft acquired the Wasteland Devs they said the Ps4 versions would be continued.

Well, all of my Fig investments are now backed by Microsoft's marketing budget and reach. I hope that means $$$ in the next couple years on royalties.

Return of Quake Ball?  And TeamFortress Mercy escort missions?

So what do you call the segment of a movie between two cuts in a 3D animated film? If that’s not a “shot” then your semantics are important because you have to invent some new term fresh out of the mind of Puddinghead to call this thing which isn’t a shot because you don’t want to acknowledge a fully CG shot is still

For me[...] When I hear a story of someone who “got that shot,” it’s stories of dangling from rafters or rushing a scene

Haha, No. The cinematographer and director are still responsible for crafting shots even if there is CG.*   The scene was 100% choreographed to look that way.   It’s just harder because you have to choreograph “blind” through the viewfinder unless you have an onset previz match moving system (but that’s very rare).

I don’t recall extreme loss-leaders like this being thrown around either.

“The best part of that scene is not the cinematography. Without that dragon, the camera is just walking up the stairs.”

Yeah, wouldn’t want to disrupt the Steam Monopoly.  That would be terrible for gamers. /s
