I was with you...until you said anti-vaxxer.  Unfortunately, anti-vaxxers have been integrated with actual Black folk.  It’s mostly the hotep and hotep-adjacent, but these are actual, real life, Blackety Black, live in the hood Black folk.  Which is why I think some of the Black Travel Movement set will find

The one smart thing he did was rob a convenience store right by an Interstate (at least accordingly to Google Street View).  But yeah, he was not planning on running that jack today.  He just decided to go for it in a place known for having cameras, hoping that the clerk that day wouldn’t give a fuck.  Now he’s going

That makes sense.  The Raiders have held onto their fans from the 80s and 90s.  The Rams at least have history and tradition on their side.  The Chargers have...I don’t get it.  Besides, I thought San Diego was the quitessential West Coast team.  Powder Blue jerseys in a stadium overlooking the Pacific is a great

Meh.  Native groups moved around drastically.  Also, the Creek (which is actually from Alabama) were occasionally referred to as Blackfoot Indians.  The history of these groups were scrambled for that lovely welfare program called Manifest Destiny, where Native American wealth was redistributed into poor White hands.

On a more serious note, the whole “Indian in our family” was often a cover story for someone Black 1) being a product of rape and 2) not obviously looking European. I do know a handful of Black people who took the test, and it turned out that their family wasn’t tripping about the Indian part. The rest were trying to

You know you’re a Southerner if...LOL

As someone who has been married (and divorced), I can say two things with authority.  One is that if you want to kill your wife at times, your marriage still has a chance.  That’s because marriage inevitably is a struggle at times, and so long as you’re willing to fight over it, it’s still living and breathing.  Two

I never paid attention to the cross streets before, but I’ve been there, and while I’m not sure it’s a guaranteed #1, it’s definitely a contender.  You’re so right.  I do think a few intersections in Zone 4 ATL would compete though.  I know good and well that NYC is out of this game.  We’re too random and ethnically

Great point about Molly.  I think the reason Molly hasn’t gotten it is that she thinks she has This Cause that trumps all.  In a roundabout way, Lawrence’s lack of motivation helped him, because he had nothing to hide behind.

The issue was that Molly tried to play both sides of the fence.  She wanted to be That Chick while publicly being buddy-buddy with the women in the office.  That’s where she screwed up.

Lawrence is an example of being hurtful without being harmful.  It’s clear that he isn’t malicious, but his laziness and naivete end up causing damage.  He has women making that effort, while he just shrugs it off without paying it any mind.

I liked what they did with Lawrence, because it seems to tie up his Stations of the Hurt Dude Cross procession neatly. Everything he did was the easy way out of whatever he wanted, and it caught him in the ass in the end. What makes it so striking is that on a certain level, he did have it easy. He had Tasha taking

I just Googled that name...and I’m sorry I did.  GOODNESS.

You ain’t lie for a minute.  To run a con that long and have no one snitch at any point is both disgusting and awe-inspiring at the same time.  That was finesse distilled to its purest essence.

Bill Cosby makes Larry Nassar look like an anonymous schlub.  I’m trying to think of a person who was more famous before committing major crimes, and the only 2 I can think of are OJ Simpson (obviously) and H. Rap Brown.  The latter is in Florence Supermax courtesy of the Georgia taxpayer, because they are afraid that

That’s why I think he’s somewhat serious about the church thing.  That he had such a weird experience with that church, but still wants to find one that works makes it appear that he has an interest in faith somehow.  I’m curious how that goes.

She’s so stuck on her parent’s fairy tale image (which we know wasn’t real life) that she’s going to keep blocking her blessings.  She’d rather have Golden Genitalia Syndrome trying to pry Dro out of his marriage than deal with the reality of a normal, heterosexual relationship.

I think Lawrence and Issa are going to end up friends. Their whole vibe comes off like “OK, it’s over-over, let’s just be adults now.” Lawrence did Issa a solid with the entrepreneur class, and they seem to have moved past whatever they had.

I’m just reporting the crime.  I take no responsibility for the creation of this bullshit.

Now playing

I never thought about that, but you’re right. Plenty people been paying to see Otis and whatever people he’s scraped up to collect a check defrauding the public.
