I find it a bit misleading however. I’m certain that there are a lot of people who identify as MRAs who also believe that women and men should be treated equally. If we’re defining feminism as equality, then men’s rights activists and feminists are working towards the same goal. As we are all aware, this is not the

Soooo.. I really don’t like the whole “if you’re for equality, you’re a feminist” argument. Feminism is about equality, but its a bit more than that. If we’re at a point where the definition of feminism is thinking that men and women are equal then I’m not really sure that its worth much anymore. Boiling down feminism

Good! It’s about time someone started thinking about the men!

If you win so do I!

If we can blame everything bad that happens in black communities as the fault of absentee fathers, can we blame this on the presence of white fathers?

what. a. sick. fucking. joke.

North Jersey = best Jersey.

I am from NJ, my mother’s side of the family is Italian and i have never heard it said outside of a television.

Sorry, I got busy at work. I’m not sure what specifically you’re referring to. Are you curious about things settling down after starting hrt? Or are you curious about transition related interpersonal emotional stuff? I can’t really describe anything I’ve experienced as anything that I would call a roller coaster. The

Congrats to her! Seeing my body slowly become my own, in a way that it hadn’t felt before, and being able to start to take pride in it and to actually like things about it for the first time has been so incredibly wonderful. I am so very grateful that hrt is available to me. Even if I have to go into NYC to get my

So, I think that what was trying to be said was that while transition is indeed incredibly difficult for families to process, it can still be frustrating to hear the extent to which people will make demands of the person transitioning. I also thought that it was a comment about the kardashians, relating to your

I don’t think it was as clear as you seem to think. Because I was just confused by what she said but your post struck me as a compelling argument.

You very clearly do not know a god damned thing about Dr. King! Please refrain from using him as your shield.

“Her radical idealism has created counter productive learning environment at Boston University and has tarnished the namesake of Boston University.”

Fair enough, but I would point to the fact that it was directed at a thing that was said, not at a person. The internet is a much friendlier place when we assume that things said are about the things we say, and not about ourselves. Pithy remark or not, the reply seemed a bit extreme compared to the initial remark.

Sarcasm is not hostile.

If there was any hostility in anything I said before, it was put there by you, not me. You’re never going to learn anything from people if you always assume that any criticism is an attack. I said nothing about you, I just made a comment that addressed what i saw (and still do see) as a misunderstanding about the

I Know this is probably not terribly helpful but if you can’t trust him what do you really have?

Look, I understand completely that you think that I missed the point of the post because you can’t seem to notice that “the point” was not what I replied to. I replied specifically to the assertion that being ok with gay people and people with tattoos and crazy colored hair is in any way indicative of the way a person
