“Every fucking frat boy” isn’t an NFL head coach. How many head coaches do you you see that have *any* kind of arrest record? Mike Vrabel is one I can think of. The story about Bieniemy and the parking attendant is really fucked up, but yes, his legal issues were long ago and not the most horrific rap sheet ever. On

I wouldn’t be surprised if Bienemy’s failure to land a head coaching job was a little bit of column A (legal issues) and a little bit of column B (poor interviewing)

So it wouldn’t be a massive upgrade for Denver because he’s only won one Super Bowl?

Really looking forward to this in July.

Jacksonville does not provide a backdrop for success.

It’s fun to believe in things that there’s no evidence of sometimes, sure, but believing in things that there’s irrefutable evidence against is several bridges too far, my man.

And it’s not like they haven’t had some good WRs!

The duo that’s had the best or second-best record in the league for three straight years, led the league in scoring last year and might be back-to-back MVP? Yeah, what an epic crashing failure that would be and not at all an upgrade for a team that’s 19-30 and ranked 23rd, 28th and 28th in scoring in that time.

Agreed. As a Bears fan- though, admittedly, I don’t really care that much- I’d rather continue cheering for the many-faced pile of ass that’s been “Bears QB” my whole life than cheer for that piece of shit, no matter how historically great.

I mean, I’m pretty the jury has come back with a “not smart” verdict on Rodgers.

These archives aren’t new, are they? I just started playing last week and immediately found them, assumed they’d been there for awhile.

Urban Meyer has never been arrested that I know of. Agreed that he’s a scumbag who ran an outlaw program at Florida, but I’m not aware of any actual legal issues he’s had. Bieniemy’s been in enough legal trouble that it’s the largest section of his Wikipedia page. He was banned from the CU campus that he’s a fucking

I said “arguably,” and I’d agree that those would be three other candidates. (Moreso Smoltz than Gibson or Ford, who never had to go through two rounds of playoffs, let alone three.)

His stats against NFC North teams are better than his overall stats, but to think he’d be significantly worse in another division is awfully silly.

Never called plays, extensive legal issues, and while I realize this *could* be a racist double standard that white coaches don’t get scrutinized as harshly on, and I also realize that these reports have been refuted by some, there’s just been too many stories of him interviewing poorly to think there’s nothing to it.

Spain, Italy, wherever the fuck.

Schilling ranks 26th all-time in pitcher WAR. Saying he was only the best pitcher on the Phillies is not only not true- he was far and away the best pitcher on the 2004 Red Sox- but it also seems phrased in an intentionally disingenuous way considering he formed one of the greatest pitching 1-2 punches of all-time

I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened multiple times. McGwire didn’t get a ton of hits anyway, because he was never a high batting average guy and drew a shitload of walks himself.

So was everybody else. Nobody cares. Bonds was already a GOAT candidate by 1998, before he even touched steroids.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Rodgers lands in Denver now.
