Cool, thanks for sharing your thoughts! Can I subscribe to your newsletter?

They thought I was just making a mockery of the sport.

Mostly agree, but I don’t think he’s specifically using it as a jumping off point to FSU. Just a P5 job in general. I hope he’s smart enough to know he’s never getting the FSU job.

Absolutely. And speaking of big stories/would-be successes, if he does transfer to a big-time program after a year as I suspect...this is still a success story for Jackson State!

Well said. I agree with every bit of this. It absolutely makes me think that something that’s still very much against the rules is happening, because you’re right, there’s no need for the secrecy with NIL.

5-star recruits that are academically eligible don’t go to JUCO. JUCO is, by and large, the scrap heap. JUCO kids that end up being big-time college prospects either had bad grades, a sketchy past, or were late bloomers. This is a dude that Rivals has described as one of the best handful of prospects they’ve ever

Come on now, have we verified that *all* of his personalities didn’t graduate from college?

Sure.

Which part of your user name equals florida and which state.

I’m gonna go ahead and say that Steve Kerr, who is a basketball coach and not a surgeon or doctor of any kind, didn’t have much to do with Steph’s ankles holding up. I guess you can say he reduced Steph’s minutes, but that’s a)in step with the overall trend in load management that really started being A Thing

I smoke weed every single night and it’s never once made me scream racial slurs.

I can’t say I want to try a drug that would!

Just once, I want someone in this situation to say, “Listen, obviously that word’s in my brain, and I’m very sorry for that. I know drugs can’t put that thought in my head, they can only make me

Hey, if anyone knows fraud, it’s Ken Paxton.

He’s the No. 1 player in America and FSU is currently not good. He would not have been “just another cog” unless he’s wildly overrated.

Oh please, freaking out about something on Signing Day is a national pasttime. The specifics are new; fans being shitty about their school losing a top guy is not. These reactions were kiddie stuff, it gets so much worse! I can’t even imagine what would’ve happened if Twitter existed during the Lorenzo Booker ND/FSU

For a high school corner? It’s really not that tiny.

I’m not talking about his behavior. I think it goes without saying that he’s a terrible person. That’s part of why I said he was never a “culture guy.” I’m talking about how he ran his teams. That’s part of the appalling behavior, of course, but there’s not a lot of overlap on the “be a good person” and “run a

Urban’s biggest mistake was thinking he could be a “culture guy” when he’s never, ever, ever been that. If he’d shut the fuck up, let his assistants do their thing and run things as the X-and-O savant he is, he’d have been fine. Well, not “fine,” but not a flaming trainwreck either.

There are *plenty* of reasons Bienemy isn’t a head coach that has nothing to do with his skin color. Agree with the overall point and with Leftwich specifically, though.

That’s a good point. It’s a big deal just in that it’s a new pathway for top players that the one-time transfer rule and NIL jointly make possible.

We’ll see in a year if it’s a big deal or not. For starters, despite the denials flying around, it’s pretty obviously NIL-related. (Deion’s non-denial denial was especially funny. No one said YOU paid the $1.5M, ya goof. That isn’t how NIL works. Any “denials” from Deion or Jackson State mean nothing. These are
