What a bizarre comparison. For starters, Frank Gore isn’t even the all-time leading rusher. At least use Emmitt Smith for this bad-faith argument! Even if you did, it would make no fucking sense because Steph broke the record in six fewer seasons than the previous record-holder did it! Career length is actually an

if Klay would stay healthy, he’d probably be up there with Steph.

One too many zeros, my man.

No.

There are definitely times where NBA games seemingly devolve into nothing but trading of pull-up 3s for long stretches. If you can’t replicate having two of the greatest shooters ever (three of the greatest when they had Durant) and one of the best passing big men ever orchestrating it, you can at least try to

3s aren’t even the only shot that exists.

This is a very, very bad half-baked take.

The two years before Kerr showed up, Steph averaged 3.5 makes on 7.7 attempts per game (45.3%) and 3.3 makes on 7.9 attempts (42.4%.) The first year under Kerr: 3.6 made on 8.1 attempts (44.3%).

Because hype and self-promotion is a much larger part of being a rapper than it is of being a women’s basketball player.

It was just a blocked shots joke, my dude. Both of them were/are great shot blockers (granted, in Shelden’s case, just in college).

Given their on-court specialty, it was inevitable that either Shelden Williams or Candace Parker would eventually reject the other.

Close. Last night was Steph’s 789th game, Ray played 1300. Steph’s averaged 3.8 made 3s per game for his career at 43.1 percent, Ray averaged 2.3 makes at an even 40 percent for his career.

Some idiot from Zombie Deadspin farted out some idiot take about how Steph isn’t the best shooter ever and I just can’t. Couldn’t get past the sub-head.

Wow, we’re coming out scorching with some super-fresh and original “fruitcake is bad!” takes. I look forward to the “they should make the whole airplane out of the black box!” post next.

As a proud (of myself for surviving that place) Black alumnus of Notre Dame, I ask you to think twice about your phrasing of “those people”.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I think the time is right for someone to pull the “fish dicks” joke on him from South Park. Even if he was at some point aware of that episode’s existence, I think at this point it could absolutely be recreated in real life if we all, as a collective people, pull together on this.

You guys got it all wrong. They weren’t trying to get anyone released from prison. They were just offering a free Larry Hoover with the purchase of a Larry Hoover of equal or greater value.

I saw that story a week or two ago, and I can’t help but think there’s way more to it than that. John C. Reilly seems like a way better choice to play Buss, though.

That’s one of the only ones I haven’t read, which is funny because I greatly enjoyed the uproar about it on Chicago sports radio when it came out. The Lakers book and the Cowboys book were both outstanding.
