I laughed very hard at this.
Aw, c’mon, that isn’t fair.
I have many teacher friends, and find this exceedingly easy to believe.
I’m glad the Root’s tone on the coverage of this dipshit has shifted from “let’s give this person the kind of empathy and compassion we’d extend to someone suffering from terminal illness” to “uh...I think this person might be both a moron and a grifter.”

the whole basis of “tampering” though is that players are chattle, owned outright by the teams.
Exactly. It’s not nothing, but what more really should have been done? The Raptors knew Lowry was moving on, and the Pellies seemed to actively want to move on from Ball. If either team had done something to circumvent the cap, or done something illegal to lure them when they otherwise wouldn’t have had a chance to…
Teams/execs are the only ones who will be punished for it, actually; they can face up to $10M in fines, lose draft picks, etc. While players technically can be suspended for it, I don’t believe a player has ever actually been punished for tampering.
I’m pretty hyped about Matrix: Resurrections, can’t lie. I know how many problems Reloaded and Revolutions had, don’t care. I watched the entire trilogy (plus Animatrix) last week for the first time in quite a few years.
I’m not really sure what else the NBA should’ve done beyond a perfunctory “OK, OK, yeah, we TOTALLY take tampering seriously, lulz” slap on the wrist. A 2nd rounder isn’t nothing; it’s a cheap asset that teams value, that can be the difference between the math working out for an important trade or not.
I’ve enjoyed all the MCU shows this year. I don’t understand for the life of me why Falcon and Winter Soldier got such a bad rap.
Wiggins made something of a mini-leap offensively in the 2019-20 season even before being traded to G-State, taking on more playmaking, upping his 3pt rate while still making them at...somewhat close a league average clip, etc.
I never would’ve guessed that Jordan Poole would be this good of a pro. He was very average in his two years at Michigan. And with Klay back, either his 3pt efficiency will go up playing with yet another weapon, or he can focus even more on his strengths as the main shot creator coming off the bench.
I absolutely remember Victor Page, but then again, I’m a college hoops junkie.
If Klay is even kinda like his old self, it’s an older, wiser version of the pre-KD Warriors with shinier weapons around Curry/Klay/Dray: Wiggins is a better version of 2016 Harrison Barnes. Pool, Lee and GPII are more explosive backcourt options off the bench than Ian Clark, Brandon Rush and Livingston. No defensive…

I “don’t have time” to clean my basement.
Totally agree.
Come on, don’t sell OBJ short, this is ADVANCING the trend. Being bad with finances? That’s your older brother’s NFL dum-dum.
