It’s the slowest one they’ll make.

Whoops, missed the link
Yup. With Ludicrous, it runs under 3 seconds to 60mph, from some leaked Tesla employees (100% reliable sources).
It’s been benchmarked in the 2s for 0 to 60 with Ludicrous, so actually it’s great to be those people! ;D
Yes, the Model 3 will have a Ludicrous option. You’ve asked Ford Focus owners what options come on a Maserati; they’re clueless.
Surely the latter. Read the two testimonial stories. First employee was repeating a single action 15,000 per week (2-3 per minute, essentially the whole shift). Looks like these people were trained in strictly the physical manufacturing/labor-intensive bits.
Read the PDF. Auto factories have *double* the injury levels of all other work.
And, read the first Tesla employee story. She was repeating one motion around ~15,000 per week.
They mention that in the article...Tesla didn’t provide that data, but I’m 100% sure payroll knows exactly how long everyone has been working, ;)
I’m a Tesla fan. But some of that shit is kind of disappointing. See their May ‘17 revisions of Feb ‘17. They *DOUBLED* their accident metrics; how do you screw up a first…
Where was the due diligence of Grohmann (the founder), then, in this sale? He just was happy to take his fat paycheck, sign his rights away to the company, and then disagree with how his new boss wanted to run the company?
He clearly didn’t ask (or care enough) about what Tesla was going to do with his company.
Nah, it’s not luck. He’s worked pretty hard for what he’s gotten, dare I say much more than most automotive CEOs.
He hires a lot of pretty knowledgeable people; no way all these designers & engineers & management teams from other automakers came in expecting everything to be easy in a young car company that has a…
That’s a solid theory. They did buy them back in Nov. 2016, so maybe they were getting antsy.
Their “reputation” doesn’t matter any more. They don’t need to find other contracts. Tesla—obviously—will keep them very busy; and, it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy: the more & better they work, the more job security they’ll get.
Every employee ever has put all their eggs in the boss’ basket. That’s how a job works. If…
What I don’t get: why wasn’t this all settled *before* the acquisition went through? Was that not a topic discussed in a multimillion dollar acquisition?
Obviously, they’ll fulfil the contracts. I see no reason why Tesla would want to bring a bevy of lawsuits against them. But, it seems like the employees wanted…
How is this an “enormous secret” when they wrote a very clear blog post about it in 2011?
Yeah, all very secretive....
Bremo is paying the full cost.
Eh. The Model S P100D is a family sedan that smokes almost everything else at stoplights while you’re on the way to pick up 5 kids from soccer practice.
The upcoming Tesla Roadster is what’ll be the actual performance car.
With all that said, the Demon is hella quick.
Yeah, I know the horse is slower, but at least it’s natural.
1) Turn off all location services (Google Now keeps your phone awake 100% of the time, leaving WiFi, etc. on even if WiFi is set to off during sleep).
Truth. LH: I'm a little disappointed.
