Nice guide!

Not really a crash though. It just burst into flames.

It’s necessary to warm up all internal combustion cars. More so in cold weather. You want to get the oil warm and more fluid before taking off.

We’ll see... If the Alfa doesn’t fall apart after 10K miles then they might have a winner.

Do they get their steering wheels from BMW?

That’s what you get when you cover your bike in WD-40.

Not a real instructor. Just some dude.

On the Corvette Forum a few people hint that it’s Speed Ventures. No thanks.

About 20 hours.

Lol @ 3:07: Driver: “Hold my glasses, man.” and hands sunglasses to passenger (That’s not an instructor. It’s some dude who told him he’s done “a bunch” of track days and could give him “pointers” so he can go for a ride in a Z06.)

What kind of jackass track day is that? When we run NASA HPDEs at Cal Speedway (this track) they limit passing in certain areas (especially under braking) to prevent collisions. Both the Z06 and GT3 are passing slower cars off line when they are about to turn in. They should both be black flagged.

Our Tahoe has a screen in the back, but it’s only for use on long trips (+5 hours). Mostly (and even on those long trips) it’s toys and talking (they’re 2 and 4, so they LOVE to talk) most of the time. We also usually leave late to avoid traffic through LA, so they are only awake for a few hours of the 8-hour drive.

I came close to buying a GSX in the late 90s, but quickly realized I would be eating Ramen daily to afford the insurance.

Now playing

This thing runs on awesome and spits fire and freedom from the tailpipes.

Now playing

I used to laugh at this. Now it makes me sad.

Easy to rev-match, downshift, then brake. Sorry to doubt your skilz.

Now that you’ve mastered the rev-match, it sounds like it’s time to up your game to heal-and-toe.

I was there for that! It was awesome!

N52 also uses secretly awesome aluminum bolts on the front of the head that secretly break (because they’re aluminum and wear out over time). Then you get a secretly awesome pinging noise from the broken bolt ratting around, plus some extra secretly awesome oil leaks around the oil filter assembly.

Ask me again in a month or two....
