Fantastic. So if you can drop it off at my house on the 17th that will give me plenty of time to pack and load the trailer before making the 5-hour drive to Buttonwillow late Thursday.

How’s the AC (if it has any for the main cabin)?

Forget the power-to-weight argument. This car was designed to harken back to a Model A hot rod. It should have had a fire-breathing V8. Instead it got an anemic V6 out of a Dodge Intrepid. Even if the V8 “only” had 300hp, the sound would have backed up the looks.

My friend’s parents had one. I was so excited when he took me out for a ride in it.... and then I went for a ride in it.

I was wrong. It gets way more intricate. Amazing work.

Holy crap, the lettering alone is amazing.

Which is why I call BS on the story above. It’s an old joke and quite unlikely that “Leesha” had it happen to them.

Chevrolet figured this out in 1968.

Lol. My dad pushed off power windows as long as possible. Their newest vehicle is a 1998 Chevy Express van. It wasn’t available with manual windows.

Here’s the point where you over steered (not oversteered), and like you said, it understeered into the wall.

For this, the main issue is Takata not making the “fixed” bags fast enough. And to be fair, they need to bring a bunch of old models back into production, then be damn sure the issue is fixed.

The issue with that car (which, funny enough is the same with our crapcan Civic) is axle alignment, so it’s eating CV joints. They said they need to move the engine back to fix it.

My wife’s 3-series is FINALLY getting to the dealer on Tuesday for the recall. It took them this long to get the parts after announcing the recall.

Agreed. Not my first bike (a ‘96 Bandit 600), but I had a 2001 SV650S for a few years that was a great bike. The 1st gen models are carberated (and cheaper) if you want to deal with all that. Great V-twin (torque!) and easily upgradable with parts from the GSXR (shock & forks), which makes it handle so much better

It was actually because he didn’t know how to say “hellaflush” in French.

It’s on airbags, so there’s a “resting” height, a “driving” height, and a “I need to get out of my driveway” height.

TIL: The DeLorean is rear-engined, not mid-engined.

I know everybody gets a boner when they hear “500HP V10,” but the S85 isn’t really that great of a motor in a street car. No low-end torque makes you have to work it constantly (torque finally kicks in around 5500RPM). Plus, SMG is a pain to manage around town. Oh, you need to accelerate to get on the freeway? Better

There’s also awards you don’t want...

The added sound effects are what really make it.
