Tbf the inline sixes sound great under load, but for revving sound kinda shit. My clownshoe sounds lovely when Im whipping through the gears, but Id never try to give anyone a rev fight like I do with my M60 powered E34 that sounds like its shredding the atmosphere apart

Yup, I saw one in our service bay one time at the dealership. Had a dogleg box, it was sweet. Personally I’d answer this questions by buying an inline 6 Z3 with a stick given how cheap they are, but I’m biased cause I have a clownshoe

Well you probably had the competition bucket seats then, which most don’t have. The normal seats are super comfy and the bolsters dynamically hold you in turns and can heat/cool your butt whilst giving you a massage. Even my buddys old E55 has that and is super comfy

I know all the differences I just think its funny because people go on and on trashing these motors and then you see them hopping into a Nissan Altima or some lame shit for the most part. My clownshoe is getting some new summer tires on E36 DS1 Wheels today so I’m excited. Been on blizzaks for the past few months, can’t wait to feel the difference

Carplay is the solver for putting directions in with the knob. Im super upset Mercedes has gotten rid of the center scroll wheel that was like Mazdas system but better. Now all I keep hearing is how I have the choice between the touchpads on the wheel, the touchpad, or the touchscreen so theres a choice for everyone!…

Well I guess I won’t be getting one anytime soon then. My grandma will be passing me down her 90s E320 (I think its a 94?) so maybe I’ll go crazy and try and swap an AMG motor in there.

My guess is its really just a stock E34 chassis with a motor and drivetrain swap rather than actually on an 850 chassis. A lot of guys swap control arms with the 8 series for the better bushing it uses, and maybe he thinks doing that is enough?

Yeah that whole dropped onto an 850 chassis sounded suspect. Lots of E34 guys swap to 8 series lower control arms because it uses a better bushing, so maybe he did that, but that still is nothing close to the same chassis
