If you get Dinan parts you can have them installed at the dealership and retain warranty for BMW. Expensive, but then again thats kinda how that stuff goes

It all depends on the mod. My car had a Dinan tune installed at the dealer and is fairly reputable so I wasn’t worried. The engine has 160k on it and still runs great.
