I work at a dealer and have never seen it. The new E coupes really do look exactly like the s coupe unless younreally know what you’re looking at. Mercedes has a lot of cool colors but unfortunately everything is always white, selenite gray, and then a couple lunar blues and cardinals reds around on the lot in the…
What about that could be described as terryfing
Uhhh... I work at a Benz dealer and not a single car has a touchscreen lol
I can never get past the newer BMWs idrive bullshit. I’m a BMW fanboy but the benz controls are so much easier to operate. I’m glad my clownshoe is old fashioned and doesn’t have any of that crap
If you drive your car hard make sure to take care of the subframe reinforcement. I got burned by it and I’ve seen others. Even though it doesn’t have a crazy amount of miles the age is still getting up there and it’s a good thought to have in your head.
Colors will always be better than gray/white/black
My z3 coupe was the same way. I’ve tried e36s with the stock and it’s definitely not as good. Something like the 63 corvair I had for a bit would be awfu with short throws
I’ve seen one at a dealer near philly. Looks amazing especially the wheels but the price tag is dumb
It’s all relative though. That car might be able to get up to speed well but that doesn’t make it a sports sedan. It’s a luxury sedan that’s kinda quick
I always loved taking my clownshoe out in the snow when all my friends thought I’d die but the blizzaks let me just swing the tail out everywhere for a ton of fun
I wish I couldn’t find areas in pa to do my own informal rally stages around philly
If I’d had the choice i absolutely would’ve gone manual. Every other car I’ve ever bought was manual, this was just a situation where I needed a car after mine broke and the kid was gonna trade it in for 500 but I just gave him cash right there instead lol. It was too perfect
Yeah I usually always shop around a lot when I order parts to find a quality part. I hate high prices but I also beat on my cars so I prefer to put in quality parts
Used prices also seem to be coming back to pre cash for clunkers prices thankfully
Mine was actually pretty solid in the snow the other day. Didn’t realize it didn’t have abs tho 😂. I can’t wait to get my clownshoe fixed this spring because I really miss driving manual.
Is it this one? Any idea how involved it would be for someone who’s never changed a motor mount before?
Yeah I get that it’s a luxury grand tourer but i still expect a car like that to acquit itself well on a backroad like an SL
Drove one of these recently. The V8 pulled off some sweet donuts but that transmission hinders the fun of spirited driving imo
These are cool but I’d so much rather just buy a C43. The 45 AMGs just aren’t worth the price with how much better sounding and more fun Biturbo V6. Also the GLA interior is so much more cramped
