The difference between those separations and OMD is that it turned Peter into a selfish asshole who cares more about his own guilt than the well being of his loved ones.

When there’s so much obvious author insertion in the plot’s setup, are they actually able to be separated?

I assure you, refusing to agonize over whether a famous creep is creepy enough for me to dislike, frees up plenty of my time and energy. What could be more logical than saying, “Well the stuff he’s admitted to is plenty gross enough. Bye.”

Because you asked a question, and I answered it. I’m not sure why you don’t like the answer, which is a matter of history, not opinion. Yes, the issue got some traction in 2014, but it didn’t lock in until 2017, when Weinstein and the Me Too movement hit. You seem to be mad that not everyone knew everything you knew

No, there was no agreement to “promote” the film. It was made available for critics, and Ignatiy gave it a D (“the gentleman’s F”).

He married his common-law step-daughter who he helped raise from a young age.

I'm glad you know so much about her love life.

Hollywood has never been as liberal as they wanted you to believe it was.  I completely buy the story of Anne being kicked out of her own premiere.

Takei is many things, certainly beloved, but he is absolutely not an A+ mainstream movie star. There’s nothing wrong with being a beloved TV legend who does movies sometimes! It’s a good thing that you can be openly gay and a successful actor now.

Makes sense to me. The talent in Hollywood is liberal, the money is very conservative.

Sorry to hear that, but glad you are recovering and doing better! Hope your breathing is back to normal soon.

Agreed. I would just add that it is not exclusively people on the right though. I have personal experience with friends and family who supported Sanders and loved to use Globalist as a slur against Hillary Clinton and her supporters in 2016.

So he’s an immortal shape-shifting alien and he chooses to look like that?

Now playing

I was actually (mis-)quoting The Simpsons:
