You know what frustrates me about the automotive journalism industry? Very few journalists give anonymity the respect it deserves. Like, there need to be extremely high standards toward granting anonymity to sources. Accountability goes hand in hand with truth, and when this rumor ends up being false (not saying it

I actually prefer the way this looks over the standard hatch. The excessively-long front and rear overhangs seem more harmonious now that the body has also been similarly stretched out.

I really hope Fiat does something to treat its more design-led customers. Like, how about offering some cool shades of brown leather and some nice, tactile aluminum trim pieces? Make it look like an espresso bar or something.

I think the Veyron/Chiron are incredible pieces of engineering and that’s awesome, but I wish that when Bugatti was bought by VW, the approach they should have taken towards their cars should have been more like Spyker. Design, quality, beauty, GT-ish cars.

I mean yeah it’s a great bike but its capabilities are so much higher than yours likely are at this point. Best to start of on a smaller bike and learn how to ride well.

Hey Doug, out of curiosity, what other cars have you owned? A post-ownership write up could be fun.

I’ve always who at Gawker does these drawings.

Good thing it’s so close to where I live!

I want to believe this car will be successful, but nobody has seen the base version of this car. I can’t see this car making financial sense if they aren’t selling their bread and butter models.

“wOULD u rather have an auto Ashton Martin or a single speed bike?! though so ;P :)”

The only issue is that it’s six, almost seven, years old, and the car has hardly even been broken in yet. I’m sure there’s a dried up rubber seal somewhere, some tubing that might have been better off if it had been used.

There’s also a really important question of how one should get to such a field with a non road legal bike. I definitely don’t have a truck/trailer.

Manhattan lol

But the thing is that many people don’t have access to large fields. I live in the city. I don’t know of a single place where I can ride a dirt bike.

kinky

For the same reason that if Porsche never sold the Boxster or the Cayenne, they’d be in the shit.

But at $1.2 mill, I find it hard to swallow that amount of platform-sharing, to be honest.

Any chance people can watch these online?

Seems like the ripe opportunity to do the immoral thing and slide a 911’s flat-6 in that empty engine bay, and sell whatever salvageable 912 engine bits remain.

Also, it’s not unheard of for a phone’s battery to run out of juice. Most people don’t have car chargers.
