    A couple weeks at least. I liked that brief period of development, elevating a really mediocre gimmick with a clever plot point. But the basic "Ha, I'm super dumb" thing is so unfunny, ineptly presented, and lacking in jokes that I sometimes think this has to be the real Sandler (probably being directed by Dennis…

    I've always loved the very first one, "Top Ten Things That Almost Rhyme With Peas":

    I think he sounds exactly like the "Honest Movie trailers" guy from YouTube, and I really thought there was going to be a punchline too.

    Pepsi tastes sweeter, less carbonation burn going down, and even tastes (holy fuckballs if this is a thing they worked out in a lab like those brilliant Kinnear scenes in Fast Food Nation…) "colder" to me.

    Was maybe your TV volume too low?  She was listening to a "Daily Affirmations"-type CD in the car, telling her that everything was going to be OK. From the look on her face, she wasn't really buying it.

    You're right, "Volcano Girls" is not bad, but it's nowhere near "Number One Blind" or several other things from the first album.  I'll give it "Above- Mediocre", which is an improved grade, but still squarely in the non-legendary stratum.

    7 minutes, 38 likes so far (dusting @Scrufflylove 's current 11/24).  That is some truly speedy like accumulation.

    Seriously, despite being just a couple lines in a mediocre single, that call-back / over-explanation / reminder of our glory hit just a couple years later actually lessens "Seether"'s coolness and leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

    No one ever talks about his kickass fretwork on Led Zeppelin III. (Jimmy Page was dead from July 1969 through most of '70, "Old Dick", as Plant called him, filled in in the studio.)
