Except for the fact that more jobs are becoming automated and the cost of labor goes down as supply rises. If more people move towards trade type professions, the pay of those professions will decrease especially if the barriers to entry are low.

Having driven a handful of new “fast” DCT cars (BMW Ms and McLaren 570) on the street and a track I can say that they were faster than my ability to really think about shifting a 3-pedal manual let alone miss it. I’d place myself pretty firmly in the 3-pedals are more fun camp, but completely see the value in the DCT

Nice to see some competition for the Ram Powerwagon and while keeping the diesel option as opposed to the Ram that’s gas only.  Curious if this will have the sway bar disconnect and locking diffs that the Powerwagon has?

Honest question, do you think that it is best to continue on the current use of ICE vehicles rather than pursue promising new technologies that are under the right circumstances substantially cleaner and more efficient?

The C7 is a victim of it’s own success. Go to any cars and coffee and you’ll walk by a half dozen C7 Z06s at least. When they were new, everyone wanted one and since they were approachable price wise, everyone bought one. Now it’s just kind of boring. Great car IMO, but nothing I’d stop and admire and I feel that’s

I get that what the owner is asking for is a bit much and that the manager doesn’t want to be “strong armed” by social media, but that’s reality. Before, there would have been almost no way to prove that an incident like this even occurred, now, not only can you provide definitive evidence, you can also tell the

I assume these numbers are theoretic estimates for 2019 models , or they are for their 2016 equivalents as I don’t know of any 2019 models that have had 36-60 months of depreciation yet. I also question the Wrangler because it is the new JL platform which is proving to be very popular. 2016 would have been the JK

As it has been said before, at least he had technology that kept him from killing himself or others in what appears to be an unfortunately standard case of falling asleep at the wheel.

Pretty sure that this is why GM moved to acquire Lyft a while back, even if it ultimately didn’t work out quite the way they had planned. I too see society moving towards a more utility view of vehicles as autonomous options become available. Demographics are showing less interest in driving cars and its becoming

In my mind the top notch Japanese cars have always been the supra and NSX. In 1993 a Supra Turbo went for about $40k if my googling is correct and the the 1991 NSX was about $60k. I feel that in their latest iterations the Supra has moved considerably down market from the NSX, and that to me is a disappointment.

We have a few Cummins powered pickups at work, 2 autos, 2 manuals (our sister company has the most beat on offroad cummins possibly ever with a manual). The manuals are without a doubt more fun for just driving around but the autos are so much easier to live with. Also, unless you go up significantly in tire size the

Stance is obvious, paternity leave is a positive thing that should be embraced. You are arguing against it with no evidence except your “expertise” as a parent.

You also don’t fill up at your house overnight on a regular basis with your current vehicle either.  I’d imagine that would render your gas station stops less frequent in general.

Triggered.

This is a disingenuous argument. The actions of an individual will never rival the effects of national policy.

First of all being a parent =/= expertise in child rearing. The bar for entry into parenthood is minimal. Second, did you read any of the links supplied? My guess is no.

RIP free market economics.

Agreed, however, the protection Trump is continually offered by the GOP throughout all of this is telling of where their morals compass actually points.

I’ve been waiting for exactly this.

Electric is the future of automotive transportation. Glad to see that this is taking the offroad oriented approach which will be a good niche if they get it right.
