Keeping trucks and Jeeps stateside actually makes sense. Producing vehicles in the US is more expensive than Mexico. So with the higher profit margin vehicles here, and lower profit margin vehicles in other places, the entire product line can be profitable while still being meeting the fluctuating needs of the company.
