Noooooo! I like these! There was one around the end of December that said something like “DUI Automatic Naughty List” which was a fun way to get the message across. I’ve seen other clever ones that make me smile and I share them with friends. While I’m taking a picture out the passenger window as I fly by at 95 mph

I gotta say, that 3.5 Ecoboost is my favorite Ford engine, and my favorite pickup engine so far. With an intake, exhaust, and tune, it’s an absolute monster. If Ford would let me have the options I want in an extended cab/6' bed F-150, I’d buy it today. Right now.

I’ve had the 3.5 EB, the 2.7 EB and the 7.3 gasser. I’ve driven the 5.0. The 3.5 was, by far and away, the most fun. In fact, it’s the most fun I’ve ever had in a pickup. I miss that truck in the worst way. The 7.3 was surprisingly underwhelming, definitely a brute for doing truck things but not much of a tire-melter.

I’ve been in a Model 3 with just the touch screen for a year and a half and, honestly, for a DD, it’s better. The main feature is that everything you do need is extremely easy to access, if you need to access it at all while driving. I very rarely ever need to touch the screen, let alone while in motion. Conversely, I

That is a Y! Look at that. There’s a M3P in my driveway and I still whiffed it! The sentiment remains.

Did they close Cybertruck reservations? I’d take $1k off that black Model 3 Performance which is INFINITELY more desirable than the stupid rolling Hammacher Schlemmer pencil case.

My Tesla will peak charge at a 250 kW Supercharger at over 900 miles of range per hour. If my arithmetic is right, that’s 75 miles in five minutes. The future is now, folks.

There are two Teslas in my driveway and I grew up with the Countach, Esprit, Vector, DeLorean, etc. and I can’t stand this ridiculous looking truck. What a waste.

Wow, no Miata and no Wrangler. I have both and I’ll be holding on to them. On the other hand, I had an F-350 with the 7.3 for exactly those reasons. I sold it after 12k miles because I got tired of 12 mpg and I didn’t have a lot of confidence after it spent six weeks at the dealer with the engine on the outside over

I’ve had a Model 3 Performance for a year and a half now and I love it to death. That said, the Cybertruck is the dumbest ****ing thing. It looks bad at everything, on top of being fugly. It kills me that the resources of a company with such potential are being squandered so senselessly.

I have to say, it’s closer than I remember. 3500 lbs, 125 mile range, $33k to start, but that 8.5 second 0-60 doesn’t even qualify for hot-ish and I can’t buy one new in 2023. I don’t know if this is what VW has in mind for the EV Rabbit but if they massage those numbers, add the Tesla port, and cut that 0-60 time in

That’s valid. Hitting the signal with the wheel cranked over would definitely be an issue. Guess I’ll have to test drive it first. That or maybe Tesla will sell the optional ‘Stalk Kit’ ;)

The turn signal is a similar switch/button on motorcycles. I don’t think it will be any problem. That said, I’d prefer the stalk given the choice. Then again, I thought I was going to hate the big center screen but it might be the best UI I’ve ever had in a car so who knows.

As someone who’s owned a 2022 Model 3 Performance for over a year, everything that people are complaining about here is a little bit of nonsense. It is to me anyway, cool your jets. I don’t want a screen in front of the driver. The center screen is better, for lots of reasons. A rear screen with climate controls and

I loved and still miss my ‘08 5 speed manual rabbit. It’s still in my area and I’m sure I could track down the owner. I’ve dreamed about buying it back and EV converting it. An EV Rabbit would be an outstanding platform for an inexpensive, short range, hot-ish hatch. Give me 3200 lbs, 150-200 miles of range, a Tesla

The greatest thing about building and running these rigs is taking something scale and accurate and making wildly overboard scale. Custom fabrication is as easy as designing and printing parts, and the scale equivalent of absolutely absurd parts are (relatively) inexpensive.

Happy to help!

I’ve done plenty of projector retrofits from TRS. They carry good stuff.

It’s happening right now. The input shaft bearing in the six speed of my 2012 Wrangler had been rattling for a while. It has around 187k on the clock so I figured I’d just swap out the trans with a fresh remanufactured unit. This was in November 2021.

It’s a product of the places I frequent on the internet. I have an irrational predisposition towards defending my car ;)
