This looks a nightmare. I recently had a stuck control arm bolt on my JK that I thought was bad, and I had a free nut and just needed to pull the axle shaft to get access to both sides. I ended up using a ball joint press tool and a sledgehammer to get the bolt out.

Sadly that was as completed as it got. Reliability issues forced me into a conveniently available Saturn SL. The car is still in a warehouse in PA, slowly being used for parts from what I know about it. If I end up with a lot of time, money, and an extra garage space one day I’d love to revisit it and do it right.…
