Nope. Based on 8000 miles of intense scrutiny, I’m not willing to give up any power.

This is 5 minutes from my house. Every day I drive by and side eye what’s on that lot. TODAY I drove by and commented on the two Nissan GTRs, the 14 TTRSs, the two McLarens, the Lamborghinis, the Corvette ZR1 and the 911. And that’s just what I can see driving by. Now that I’ve gotten this out of my system, I’m going…
Drove one today.
I put the phone in my pocket and ride the bike. If I need directions I can get them over the helmet comm.
Sadly that was as completed as it got. Reliability issues forced me into a conveniently available Saturn SL. The car is still in a warehouse in PA, slowly being used for parts from what I know about it. If I end up with a lot of time, money, and an extra garage space one day I’d love to revisit it and do it right.…
Haha! I’ve progressed to Jeeps and removing entire doors!
Absolutely I ruined a car. Fortunately it wasn’t a flawless example to begin with, but I was young, inexperienced, and made some pretty poor decisions.
Awesome!! No love for the silver 1984 4000S(q?) at 4:35?? I had two of these in this color and I recognized it immediately.
Oh I’d ride the crap out of one of these. Not at 15,000 though, it’s cold up there.
I’ve been buying crosstreks for my employees for years. I’ve never driven one, but I love them. Zero problems, zero complaints. Small enough to park places, enough space to bring things, holds up just fine in the NJ winter. Keep for 100k miles, regular maintenance only, trade in, repeat. Currently waiting for the…
Who would marry someone who couldn’t drive stick?
I’ll second everything here. I love mine, I use them frequently, I’ve forgotten to turn them off for weeks and I’ve never replaced a battery. They are excellent
I drive these when weather permits
Yet again, I’m reminded that my wrangler is the perfect vehicle.
My first car was a silver ‘84 Audi 4000S that my grandmother had bought new (in ‘84 when I was 3), and kept in mint condition for me till I was ready for a car. You can imagine how pretty it was and how, as a 17 year old, I treated it. It was front wheel drive and had a solid axle and drum brakes in the rear. The rear…
Nice of them to include that 2.5' bed. On this pickup truck. ...
It wasn’t my car, but I got rear ended on the highway and this was the minivan that hit me:
I had a buddy die in an (arguably) 4th gen Viper. He gave the keys to his friend and they ended up going UNDER a guide rail. He was very responsible with the car, but I guess it was a bit much for his friend.
I have a ‘12 CBR1000RR in the garage that should be good for 160-170hp. No traction control, no ABS, no riding modes. Every time I get on it I’m reminded I’m sitting on a missile and the weak link is the guidance system.
This is why I trimmed my stock Wrangler plastic fenders and I’ve left them on there instead of switching to steel or aluminum. If I rub them on a tree, they just flex and come right back. Depending on how easily they actually come off, I’d probably just pull them for a day on the trails and put them back on after. I…
