All I want is payload capacity. When I go pick up tile for a job, it can easily get into the 3k+ lb range. I don’t need my pickup all that often but when I do, it has to carry heavy stuff. I’ve maxed out the last two F150s and they held up admirably, but I am considering a superduty next time because I just don’t want

That’s a good lookin van. I like it

I’m a Justin. This is accurate.

Do the doors come off?

I also use the Citi Double Cash for general purpose. Chase Visa and Discover run quarterly 5% cash back on things like restaurants, gas, grocery stores, etc. Amazon Visa gets you 5% on all Amazon purchases. Target RedCard gets you 5% on all Target purchases (discounted, not cash back). I rotate these cards to max the

Is this insanely obscure?? I have it on the flash drive in the Jeep too. Good stuff

Yeah this is silly. Two of these are cars. Capable cars, but cars. The beauty of a wrangler isn’t that you drive it off the showroom floor and into a rock garden. They will manage pretty well stock, but again that’s not really the point. The point is that if I want to build a daily driver that is capable offroad (not

Hey why is my name on the car’s side mirrors? Rauch?

I’ve posted this here before but it bears repeating:

This is why I keep 2 in my jeep. One small and one big, both very accessible.

Interesting. I appreciate the insight!

I do my best to avoid tons of mud and I prefer to stick to the rocks off road. I do prefer the KO2s to the Duratracs on the road in the dry and (especially) rain, though in the snow I thought they were similar if not marginally better. It was a light snow season though, I’ll have to pay closer attention this winter.

Really? I had Duratracs on my JK and hated them. I have KO2s now and I love everything about them. They are better at everything than the Duratracs.

Toyota won this one hard

Hmmm.. If they offer this with the extended cab and 6.5' bed at a non-astronomical price I might be interested. I’ve given up on the Gladiator being worthwhile as a pickup.

Since when is ugly ok as long as it’s big and different and shiny?? I look at some cars out there and wonder what on this earth goes through the minds of the people 1. designing, 2. approving, and 3. purchasing these travesties.

I don’t think there’s any dealer I really trust to work on my car. Maybe that’s because I do as much as I can and I probably don’t trust anyone, but every dealer service experience I’ve had has been mediocre to terrible. Anything I can’t do I’ll take to one of a few independent shops that I do trust, and most of those

I’ve considered buying into one of those Maxjax lifts. What’s mostly stopped me is the limited ceiling height (9'6) and the Jeep height (6'6) which means I’d get a whopping 3 feet of lift. Less with the garage door open. That puts it squarely into the gray area of super easy to lift up and support but still awkward to
