They spent that quota on re-skinning the Z4 and shimmying it into Supra shell.

This is a chicken or the egg for supply and demand.  The manufacturer says there is no demand (even though there most likely is) and then builds less than 300.  Customers can’t find any (no supply) and settle for an automatic.  Manufacturer claims no one buys them and refuses to produce any more for the next model

I agree, but 8 year old me was excited for the 1964 Imperial, and the salesman was nice enough to take me in the back and show it to me while it still was dusty and not yet officially introduced. Love both eras.

F them punks.  This is why we can’t have nice things.

Is it a faulty power line when it’s hit by 100 MPH winds? Are all power lines designed to withstand winds of that speed? Not saying the line may be at fault, but there’s a lot more to this than just a “faulty line”.

This is a bunch of morons acting as social misfits. I live in Los Angeles and drive in Los Angeles, and I can tell you the most courteous and safe driving is being done by Waymo. The average Los Angeles driver has no understanding of safe driving concepts or common courtesy. I’ve yet to see a Waymo, and I past them

Supercars (and the people who find them fascinating) are dumb and boring.

I was 4 in the fall of 1960 when these came out. Instantly smitten, I got a 1/25 model of the convertible (Dad assembled it) and carried it with me for years like Linus with his blanket.

The truck I have now (that I bought 12 years ago as a one-owner vehicle) still had the previous owners home address in the navigation “home” section...thought about parking there April 1 and leaving it outside with a big note that says “YOU CAN’T GET RID OF MEEEE!”

Since crossovers are still massively outselling their hatchback counterparts, something like the C-HR would sell better than a straight Yaris.

To him its a different planet. Mind you this guy pulled over a VW Cabriolet thinking two thugs were running drugs or something. I don’t think he got out or very far much. (Apologies to brothers who drive (or drove) VW Cabrios. I’m sure there are possibly a dozen of you.)

I don’t understand why the majority of consumers still think always-on connectivity is a great feature to have in cars. I won’t buy a new vehicle unless I’ve already figured out how to physically disable that connection the day I buy it. I have a cyber-security background, and I know most, if not all, manufacturers do

VW builds its cars for China IN China. There are no tariffs on VWs for the Chinese market. They have partnered with SAIC to build cars there since 1983. That’s the point, VW can’t compete with BYD. It doesn’t matter if the playing field is level, the playing field is the playing field.

Look back in history. America said the same thing about Japanese cars, then years later, about the Korean cars. Guess what’s gonna happen.

Depends on who he knows and or what kind of stand your ground laws are in that state. Dude probably has a no trespassing sign on his fence or whatever which may or may not help a case like this. A fire chief however is usually the community darlings, so that’s going to be tough especially if he formed alot of positive

NO!.. he thought they were transvestite immigrants who were trying to give him gender reassignment surgery before making him buy an EV, installing LED bulbs in his house, and then take his job.

Or poultry farms

There is no problem. A government investing in its future and that of the health and security of its people is the proper operation and job of a government. Somehow, a percentage of humanity residing in the United States feels such actions are unnatural and against what the universe intended.

I sure some sort of castle doctrine will be used as a defence, or ‘I thought they was transvestite immigrants “
