Well there was that one time when I was all by myself on the muni bus. Nobody called me King though.

But parked cars would only get towed if they have been ticketed, right? Who else would ticket cars on base aside from the base MP’s?

There are two reasons why a car would be towed: either it’s being repo’ed, or it’s illegally parked. Either way, the fault falls solely on the deployed soldiers.

OK. So that means the cars were illegally parked.  In other words, the towing company was just doing its jobs. Towing cars that are illegally parked. What’s the outrage all about?

I can see it now. A robotic truck stops by the side of the road, a small hatch door opens, and then a little RC car comes out carrying the triangle reflective signs....

I am with the towing company here. I am sure these cars weren’t repo’ed for no reason. The deployed soldiers must have missed payments on these cars.

ITAR mandates that access to physical materials or technical data related to defense and military technologies is restricted to US citizens only.

16.3mpg. For a company that specializes in building hybrids, this is an embarrassment.

The number they show to consumers are not the same as the numbers they use to calculate the CAFE fleet economy.

They already publish the kwh/100mile figure, which is far more useful than the MPGe figure, which I never understood.

China hasn’t had an original thought since the invention of gunpowder

Watch their economy come crashing down? Or watch our economy come crashing down? GM sells more cars in China than the US. Prior to the Trump trade war, Apple sold as many Iphones in China as in the US, and US movies took in almost 50% of China’s box office revenues. So the US is not any kind of innocent victim. The US

Xu was found guilty of espionage and sentenced to 20 years in prison late last year

Sad to see the Japanese factories are slipping and falling behind. They can’t seem to get the weight down like the Italians.

I agree that new car credits should be available to all without income caps. Because we want to encourage carmakers to build and sell more EV’s. Used cars, on the other hand, should have an income cap for subsidies. Because here, there is a limited pool of supply, and subsidies on used cars do not encourage carmakers

I just searched for Chevy Bolt on my local Craigslist, and I am seeing over 20 cars under $25,000.

They made it easier for you to sign up for both Uber and  Ubereat at the same time. So now you can be exploited by two apps with one sign-up!

I want to see the CEO actually calculate his hourly pay, including the time he is sitting around waiting for a fare, and then time he spends driving back to the city from the boonies.

Or it was a game of telephones. After 3 rounds of ‘executive summaries’, whatever the drivers reported, already got lost and distorted in the 4th hand report.

But the prices are set by Uber itself. Prices actually went UP for the riders, and the pay for the drivers dropped.
