It's worth noting that playing through a partially torn labrum and having surgery after the season is quite common.  I'm sure every partially torn labrum has its own story - some can't be played through.  But the context is pertinent and important and missing from the article.

You’re the one who brought it up.  You're right, it doesn't matter.

“sort of”......yep

This is all just about definitions. Is a marathon a “race” or merely a distance? IMO, and apparently the opinion of the IAAF, it needs to be a race. It’s an amazing feat either way.

It looks like he was taunting Acuna by throwing the bat towards CF. I wasn’t watching the game so correct me if Acuna wasn’t out there.

The ultimate respect a hitter can show to a pitcher is to hit the ball 455 ft.  I want Carlos to respect the game by not pitching like dog shit.

I’m amazed no one is asking the most relevant question here......

You should send them your resume.

Thanks for sharing these, Max.  And thanks for doing it without any polarizing and/or condescending political ideology.

Ah, but let’s play that game both ways. What’s the proof that there WAS collusion? The storyline around that was how kimbrel was a badass who would help any team and is OBVIOUSLY worth the money he was demanding (and not getting). Alas, he’s past his best years and there are plenty of relief arms out there under team

Yes.  Antonio Brown failed Antonio Brown.  More than help he needs to be a responsible human being.

Ask Trudeau

I wish people could give a reasoned response like you propose Kavanaugh provide about accusations like these.  But if anyone accused gives such a response the “cancel culture” people will never stop until their career and lives are pulverized.

Why does this article read as though the surgery is happening against the patient's will?  Is this a subtle nod to Bernie's healthcare approach?

Fraud occurred 10 years ago, therefore all ratings today lack credibility? I wouldn’t go that far but that doesn’t make it unreasonable.

I won’t claim to be a big fan or believer in Wall Street gurus.  But major auto manufacturers have long history of going bankrupt.  The purpose of the rating is to help quantify risk of bankruptcy (and thus price their debt).  So I don’t think downgrading Ford is a sign of anything other than reality.

So, if I understand your logic here, a poor disadvantaged white person could call a rich black guy the n-word. I’m skeptical.  What am I missing?

The entire comments section on this article totally misunderstands the situation.

You seem to know a lot about the law and also business. You must be in your early 70s to have accumulated that much expertise.  At your age I don’t recommend buying stock in Uber or Lyft.  Stick to annuities and the coffee can you buried.

I suppose they could pay less. Weird, that’s exactly what is happening because there are too many drivers.
