The comics take place before the stream, so it wouldn’t fill in anything about the actual campaign, or what happened.

I suddenly remembered how sad I was about R-Type being an effectively dead franchise. That means sick merch like this is few and far between.

The new campaign is vastly different to the first, they’re playing much less traditional “heroes” this time around; part of what made the first campaign so special was that when it first aired was the fact it was genuinely a home game that Day thought would work really well online.

Roseanne’s still rich anyway, she’s actually alright.

Not to mention, this is hardly the first time Roseanne has said something racist on Twitter.

I will curse every goddamn day if I feel like doing so and I don’t give a fuck if someone clutches their pearls over it. In fact if my swearing is of more concern than the fact that some chickenshit pig is getting off with nothing more than a paid vacation then that person is the problem.

Oh there’s a huge toxic bunch of gatekeeping arseholes who do nothing but attack Mercer, and especially Marisha for having the gall of playing house rules on their stream, or for “scripting” the game, or being a woman, or being inclusive with character etc. etc.

In the words of the great civil rights leader and social justice warrior Rosa Parks - NAH.

I don’t need Mo’Nique’s opinion. Seriously. I don’t have to watch Roseanne do anything. She hasn’t been funny in nearly 25 years (and she wasn’t funny than, it was the writers).

Uh, he not only has a gun, but pulls it out while running and has it in his hand. As far back as ‘97, I believe, the Federal Appeals Court ruled that a suspect fleeing with a gun in their hand constitutes an imminent threat and can be shot in the back legally. Mainly due to fleeing with a drawn gun and not complying

Man, I'm glad I don't play in your game.

What a strangely negative response to a simple little tool.

Lol, dungeoncrafting elitism? Weird thing to be gatekeeping about considering how D&D is all about exploring people’s fictional imagination, but then again I never felt the need to feel superior to people when I’m playing a FUCKING BOARD GAME.

Yeah, those fucking assholes amirite? Those fucking pieces of shit. Screw them for not wanting to improvise. Anyone without the experience to run a smoooth session with no prep should probably just stop playing the game am I right?

you are a really cool dude. To make such a valid observation.

Hope all my sarcasm isn’t

Because most people have no idea what you are talking about when you say “legit PCB or build a MAME” and just want to play street fighter like they did in an arcarde

I’ll have to check this out a bit later. I’m getting ready to DM for my first time too, so this is right up my alley. I’ve been listening to a lot of Critical Role lately, and have kind of had D&D on my mind just in general. I’m looking forward to just making it happen, and hopefully everyone will have fun.

Eh, it’s like Xerox and Band-Aid at this point.

It probably came off exactly as insufferable as I’m being right now, huh?

Now playing

That specific moment in Critical Role is at 2:39:22, but the whole episode is a riot from start to finish, coming from Travis Willingham who played the dumbest (and biggest) character in the party, a Goliath barbarian named Grog (Grog’s party “family portrait” in thumbnail above), while chilling in their Gnomish bard

I’ve been switching between listening to Adventure Zone and Critical Role. I like them both but though I hear the Adventure Zone story becomes something really special the longer you listen, the voice actors/party in Critical Role are very, very impressive and very easy to get invested in.
