But in practice, they don’t. In this country, Africans Americans are more likely to be arrested, charged, tried, convicted, imprisoned, denied bail, denied parole, and killed by the government than white people or even some other minorities.
But people don’t need to be reminded that all lives matter, because the authorities aren’t taking all lives. They’re taking black ones. So they need to be reminded that black lives matter.
