No it’s not. It’s funny. You guys light up people you “think” have what in your mind is an “unreliable car.” Where we could trash your old beaters all day long.

Not when the article is claiming young people are buying them because cars are too expensive, and for traffic.
Interesting take.
Nothing like teaching kids to ride motorcycles in a climate where you can ride about half the year. If young folks as per this article, “are shifting towards motorcycles,” maybe do this in some warmer parts of the country. It’s a fine concept, just not in Milwaukee.
Do you see the stuff people are saying the have? Toyotas with 200-300k+ miles on them? Just let those comments roll off your back. I bet carving corners and sitting in traffic in old 4-Runners is a blast.
Look at those front calipers! That has to be some sort of high performance variant. Land Rover doesn't use those on just their standard models. Maybe there's a reason this one is at The Ring.
You should see the amount of new CX-5s in California suburbs. They know. Range Rovers, Porsches and CX-5s. That is the right choice. Smart buyers know it's a fantastic car for what you pay. And it's reliable as hell.
It is a good sounding 6. I had the old FX35 when my neighbor had an R32. It was pretty close. The VQ was a little more gruff. The R32 had the same howl, but more refined.
Im going to have to look it up!
Ha ha! Right. JLR 5.0s, 5.0SCs, GM 6.2s, Ford 5.4 4V, Porsche 3.4s and FIAT 1.4s, and other really “shitty-sounding” Wal-Mart muffler cars dating all the way back to the Mazda 2.5 V6s.
Sounds fine. Bring it!
Oh, for sure! I have a Rover Sport V6, and I wish it had the F-Type sport exhaust. Hwwwmmmm. I love that motor, too!
I owned both gens of FX35s and a 370Z. I can absolutely say they are the best sounding cars I’ve ever owned, or even heard in my car-loving history. I’m not sure where this sentiment is coming from.
They must be pretty robust because I see some 250-300+ lb people riding them that should be walking.
As an ex Focus ST owner, brand new... Ford, you suck now.
Hey Collin... Real quick. I do have a CX-5. I also have a Range Rover Sport. The CX-5 is almost the same quickness as my Sport. That is plenty quick. Then put that in a lighter vehicle. How fast do you need to go? Anything with a 0-60 around 7 seconds is fast enough.
I was also just there. Those things are a menace. They're not people using them to "get to work". They're obese tourists and kids driving them around obnoxiously and dangerously weaving through pedestrian traffic. Get them out in traffic. Not on sidewalks. They're a menace and a pain in the ass. This is how regulation…
They are terrible. I drive much more “proficient” machinery. You’re absolutely incorrect. My rental cars tell me this over and over. Your transmissions suck.
I guess we all have different tastes. I find the new Mazda interiors simplistic and gorgeous with top notch materials. The "premium" GM interiors from Denali, Cadillac and Buick just don't compare. Neither does Infiniti or Acura. I could only liken it to the Germans with far less fuss. Again, different opinions,…
As a CX-5 owner, I just think this diesel model will fail here. Diesels are already a poor seller on normal passenger vehicles, especially after these multiple diesel scandals tarnishing their reputation.
